In fairness ODR, you know as little as the rest of us, including MP and including me. We could get nothing, we could get 1p, 10p etc. Realism suggests nothing, and yet optimism sees me buying a boat.!

ODR - you mentioned the silence in your 12:03 post and said maybe JC Carter was wrong to suggest that Zaza had been removed. You may well be right, but it may also be the case that he has indeed stepped aside and agreed to keep quidiet, allowing other players to do the negotiating on the company’s behalf. Wishful thinking I know, but it’s all I’ve got left!

Nothing new I’m afraid on the German site - here’s the only part that mentions FRR.
Titled “Not an isolated case” It says:

Perhaps under Russian pressure, the project was also canceled this year on the Georgian side.

The investment climate and, increasingly, confidence in Georgia as a reliable economic and political partner are correspondingly damaged. Foreign direct investment was already 42% lower in the first quarter of 2020 compared to the previous year. With the corona virus, the situation is now likely to be even more unfavorable. The US government has also reduced its annual financial support to Georgia by 15% until the situation on the ground improves.”

Last time we had silence I suggested they might be involved in talks, then Zaza came out and said they hadn’t. Who knows? Losing faith here. It would be good to here from FRR properly.

I wish I was one of the clever investors - sadly I’m simply one of the many long term holders, who happens to be quite a bit down at the moment. But I’m still holding, now with more shares than ever before, hoping to break even and maybe a bit more. Good luck and thanks for your consistently well-thought out posts.

Looed - interesting that the areas in square kilometres on the FRR website do not match those stated in the latest statement. For instance FRR state that Taribani is 80 km2 and not the 17.2 km2 stated by GOGC.

Gipps51 - I think you are dismissing B-2-0’s comments too readily (regarding our comments from yesterday). Looed has just suggested something similar, that the 99%-1% comments/disagreement might make broad sense after all if you accept the possibility that the arbitration only looked at some of B12. Welloiled suggested 20% might have been outside this process. For me, the exact percentages don’t matter as they could relate to area, value, past or present production etc. The important thing for me is that we are still alive and that we may yet still be able to survive this mess.

I’ve been thinking about this 99%-1% issue. According to B-2-0, the arbitration was agreed in advance to only be about the non-resolved areas: our producing areas were all agreed to be retained by us. So when you discount these, it now makes sense that we lost 99% of them. Overall however we have retained much more.

“In November gogc took 50%ownership of fig at the same time Frr transferred their percentage to an investor. At the time of the oocs the productive land not disputed was appropriated for the purposes of the oocs. The remaining land could not be agreed upon at the time as part of the deal and was segregated to freg, hence the award against Freg and not fig. The reason for the inclusion of frus in the arbitration is for retrieval of the funds holding the oocs settlement. Zm signed a goodwill agreement as part of the oocs (common with complex acquisitions). The oocs asset is not part of this arbitration, this was all about gogc portion of the profit for this land given the lack of proving up the asset.”
