Thanks once again Looed. I couldn’t watch the court case yesterday so everyone’s thoughts and uploads are a big help. Am I right to say that we are in court again today, 10pm UK time?
RE: Texas hearing resumes today (hopefully!)2 Jun 2021 02:15
Not sure Sycric, but it’s definitely the right case. Looks like our case has been delayed by 9 months! Presumably the TRO remains in place for all that time and if that’s the case, then I suspect that would be a good result for us.
Not yet Rich. The court case went well for us today, but it restarts on Tuesday, and that’s when we should get a better idea of our likelihood of success. If we win here, then who knows: still a long way to go, but I’ve a sneaky suspicion that the BOD may have a plan for once....
On the 18th May I suggested that one of our super-sleuthers May have helped our cause. For once, I was right. Well done whoever it was! My post is copied below: “ the large amount of the work done by our band of super-sleuthers I suspect alerted and ultimately helped the cause of our new BoD (I’m thinking of the unearthing of the unpaid bill for FRR’s registration in the Caymans, and also the discovery of all of Zaza’s cloned-Frontera companies, that at the time we tended to assume couldn’t have been clandestine because it would be so obviously corrupt, but that then turned out to be exactly that!). I haven’t cross-checked the dates, but I reckon those reports and others may have made their way back to the US and may have led to Zaza’s sacking.”
An interesting analogy Mole. I’d liken our situation however to a football match that you’ve just turned the radio on to listen to the match. You may know that you were a goal down in the first half, and you can hear some fans cheering a new goal, but until the commentator announces the score, you just don’t know if it was your team who scored or your opponents!
ODR - you’re right to say that my optimism may well be misplaced, but the company did recently communicate that the asset grab has been blocked and I for now have taken their word for it. I would however very much like them to point us in the direction of the evidence for their claim, so I am not alone in my optimism!
Rainbow I don’t think all is lost yet. I think we have belatedly put together a good team of people fighting for the whole FRR family. I also agree with them when they suggested that a lot of this is being played out behind closed doors and out of sight. I hope they decide to continue their lines of communication (for now via Looed) and that they manage to speak to us all again soon with more news and hope. If we have indeed managed to put aside our differences with Outruder/Hope that would be a bonus. The California courts suggested we were looking to find common ground, and SN and Morant (?) both joined forces to go after ZZ in Texas. If they have managed to find the sort of compromise that we were all hoping for over 2 years ago, then that must be good for us all. Finally, I do take comfort in the vigour and energy demonstrated by this new team in defending our assets. I’m certain that they must believe that the financial rewards for us all must be great to justify all their collective time and efforts.
