Thanks Looed. Despite all this Black-Friday rubbish here in the UK, I’d completely failed to link Thanksgiving to our court cases in the US!

I must admit I was hoping to find out some more news from our multiple court cases today. We have in the past seemed to get Friday night updates from our 2 sleuths. Is no news, good news Looed? Any news from the Georgian courts Cymro?

This is our lawyers confirming that they don’t mind that Zaza’s lawyers are refusing to represent him in the Texas court. It should make Zaza’s chance of overturning our recent victories in the Texas courts even more unlikely.
Alongside this are the 2 court cases in Georgia where it seems we are trying to overturn past decisions regarding our right to control the assets in Georgia (at least that is how it appears to me). Zaza is represented by lawyers there, and so perhaps believes he still has a chance of winning these Georgia cases.

Looks like Zaza was using money from the sales of our oil to pay for his lawyers in the cases against us! Ironic or what! And now he has lost access to our oil and our money, he can’t now pay his lawyers and they understandably are refusing to represent him in the US. Good news for us and perhaps the end is in sight. Good luck all and hopefully news will properly come in time for Christmas.

Good to see this translation Looed (and thanks to Cymro who initially found it. The stand out line for me Looed is this one:

Basically listen to the US version of Frontera, as they are telling the truth! I think the fact that we are working with the GG and the GOGC is very encouraging indeed.

A few things I’d like to remark upon given all the news in this past week or so:
1 - I think it’s fairly obvious that Zaza’s fake version of FRR is dead and it would need a monumental change of heart from the Georgian Government to see them come back. The courts in both the US and Georgia seem to agree on this (at least for the moment).
2 - Whether our version of FRR stands to gain from Zaza’s demise is still to be decided. We’ve had positive sounds from the Ministry and only this week a statement from our Georgian lawyer saying they had been working with the GOGC as they move against Zaza. But until we hear for sure, we just don’t know. For instance, all that oil, apparently 10000 barrels, equates to nearly a million dollars. Who’s getting that money?
3 - On the face of it, Hope and co are also out of it, save for the court cases in the US re fiduciary duties etc. His version of FRR were liquidated in the Caymans and now seemingly out of the running for the keys to the asset. As for YA, I’m kind of lost re them. We seem to have won some recent court cases against them, but that’s the limit of my understanding there.
4 - I understand why several posters bemoan the lack of official comment from the company. I feel the same way and am pleased so many posters say it as loud and as frequently as they do, because who knows, it might just prod the company to speak with us sooner than they otherwise would have done. At the same time I am still very grateful for the reports we get from Looed and others, as without them, I would have given up on FRR a long time ago.

Let’s hope this is the beginning of the end for ZM’s pretend version of FRR. Perhaps things are starting to line-up for us. Thanks Looed

Thanks Looed for your efforts. Pleased we’ve had news of the court case but not pleased it’s still rumbling on nearly 3 years later. I read MP’s thoughts re the recent election but was never convinced. I figured it was better the devil you know regarding those in power in the Georgian government. Well I got my wish as the GD still seem to have won. Let’s hope the minister now delivers. GLA

You go after the directors because you don’t think you are able to get anything back from the company. Now assuming FRR does in the near future have some value, either SN and co believe they can’t be touched and they will therefore attempt to ignore this court case, or if they think they may one day have to pay off the liquidators, then they will try to do a deal from FRR’s funds, thereby avoiding the possibility of having to stump up all the fees himself.

There’s always a caveat or two when lawyers are involved! An interesting number however, which when divided by 16 billion shares (ish) and adjusted into pounds is about 2p per share, before the deductions begin, of course...

I don’t think we’ve had the official confirmation of the asset transfer yet from the GG. We have had a very big hint however from the Minister for the Economy Natela Turnava that an agreement is near. Fingers crossed that we don’t have to wait too long.
