Reading today's RNS....For all of the gushing about new comms, which haven't added up to much - except if you are a rig geek.

No one on this board, not even Lord Lucan can explain this Leningas deal.

Lucan says 'consolidated its position in the Lidsey Field at a competitive non-cash price and looks forward to the future for this producing site. '

Yet

Angs made Leningas liquid with tradeable shares, removing his risk in the asset. Why?
Why did he deserve this deal?
Why would the company need to consolidate its position? Anyone who says 'future' development is spreading fairy dust. Competitive to what?

Seems to me, Lenigas' old tricks, new management .

This means he took no risk in the asset and is being compensated for reasons that are not transparent. Why would you dilute shares and make Leningas liquid, leaving us shareholders holding the bag while he tweets and trades the shares we just gave him.

And why would you ever buy Leningas out of Lidsey? it makes zero sense... ....this all smells very bad.
