Captain Stanley ...
Respectfully disagree..
Firstly Lord Lucan is serving his own interests and obviously reading these boards...Any competent person would know that the boards, deliberately take 'turn on tap' comments out of context for their own purposes. And to suggest it caused some dislocation in the market / share price is ludicrous. .... Obviously they turned on the taps and they got water/nothing. No one said it would , without any doubt produce oil, my recollection is that it described the work required at the time..
...Just bc Lord Lucan is more measured and paternalistic, it doesn't mean he is more trustworthy. Has he explained why the company took on more risk w Lidsey and paid Lenigas? Why did Leningas have to be paid if they are all partners?
And, he stated in the Annual Report " Following Jonathan Tidswell-Pretorius’s share dealing and resignation from the board the Company has initiated its own investigation into the matter which has drawn on too long. The investigation is still ongoing, under my supervision, and we aim to bring this matter to a rapid conclusion with an RNS release before the AGM." That never happened either...
All LTH should tread carefully with this new arrangement, same team - albeit entertaining.
