Lawrence I do agree with most of what you say (I don't know about $35k but definitely much much higher nickel prices ahead - esp due to inflation) except the 'Mr Market Always Prices Future Value' - this bit I take issue with mainly because I find it odd how imperfect the market is. The market seems to price 'here and now' and this is why we, the lowly PI investor, have the opportunity to buy ahead of time knowing what we belileve will take place then. Woodmac already had quite juicy forecasts for the next decade when I started buying Horizonte in 2018 at 3p and I was thinking 'why isn't everyone buying Horizonte'.
The brilliant thing about the market imperfection is, when the market realises it got it wrong, we overshoot. We see this in every bull run - uranium, commodities, gold, crypto etc. You just need to hang onto your hat (or shares) when that happens. I guess the question here is, are we there yet. My guess is a couple of years away yet but it doesn't matter - the main thing is Horizonte is a solid independent entity when it happens then the buyers (of either shares, or the company) will be paying premium premium - far more than the 3p or 7.5p we paid.
You would think majors would take early positions but apparently not. I might be surprised and we might get sold this year (or early next). Myles Mc on twitter certainly seems to think so.
