That's the thing about this share. Once there is no selling, it rises on small volume. I've moved it myself pretty easily with £10 or £20k buys. If the selling has stopped (for good) we could be on for 4p short order. All imho

hard to call the finish today. On previous days we flirted with the next penny boundary, broke it afternoon, finished mid next penny.

Today, we sliced 7p early doors like one would slice cheese. If we can break 8p then an 8.5p finish? But wtfdik?!

Westie, I got EUA on the rise so for my circumstances very different to what we have here. I wasn't there in the (Horizonte) equivalent dark days of 1.7p or low 3p and can't take much credit for patience there. But the synergy is the asset. Both are co's are sitting on ENORMOUS assets. In a super duper Nickel market Horizonte have approaching $100bn nickel in the ground.

So the question then becomes, is the team up to the job of getting the deals done to get the company to fair value. I haven't met the Horizonte mgt personally (I think some people on here have) but everything I have seen so far speaks volumes about professionalism. OK the odd 'slipped' deadline but otherwise we are on a near-certain course towards a near-certain outcome. All imho.

I guess the important factors (at least the two are):
- team
- asset
Both companies appear at least to have great set of both, which again just confirms to me why this will happen here, when the time comes. Maybe there is a mgt team which can mess up on a multi billion $ resource, but I don't think it is the Horizonte management team.

apologies for the slight cross ramp here but I'm in two shares EUA and HZM and for my money shows the value of patience here. EUA is rising fast, despite stagnating for a bit. It is doing 20%+ rise a day. I didn't know if it would, I still don't know if it will continue.

The difference with Horizonte (in my mind) is:
- it will (certainly) and
- when the equity portion is announced, it won't be a 20% rise on the day. It *should* hit the equity price that day. Be it 10p/12p/14p or whatever the price Teck/Glencore/JP Morgan agree to fund. So from a 3p or 5p base we should see 100%-300% on the day.

So patience is hard at times but one day it pays off, and in my mind at least, guaranteed outcome here.

absolutely and you called it sir! I have respect. It takes nerve to go against the grain.
Longer term this has momentum though. Absolutely agreed it can swing this way and that in the meantime. I'm surprised we came this far and this fast but for my money, still the 7-10p week close.

add to that 'the trend' and how well the buy side is supported and ii's loading tricky one. Balls of steel or you're not really shorting at all :)

not saying it can't be done successfully (short that is) and no problem with it personally, but risky play. RNS / suspends is a huge loss.

simples -> don't sell -> no problem. Let the ii's and the mm's sweat the 'how to get shares' problem :) I don't know whether or not I can sell (I use ii) because I'm not trying to!
