I've not really seen exactly this scenario before but always trying to rationalise -
- is the ACF note sufficient to move us by these margins or
- is there money moving in because they sniff the timing is ripe (possibly know news is imminent)

tells you someone is loading up. It has the look of big money moving in. Someone has to be absorbing the profit taking now? Is this where PIs exit leaving the next 10x gain to the IIs?

interesting that the proposed ban on petrol and diesel cars is being brought forward in the UK and includes hybrid. Got to be good for EV.

for today. But later this week it could be 7.5p. It'll level off for sure but my hunch is, higher than we are now. There's a lot of pd in them hills and it is going to be worth a metric shedload to whoever buys us.

further insurance on that price being that the broker values us at 12+p already without flanks / other proven pd resources.

Allows 4-6x upside on flanks news and bid (valuing co at £1bn-£1.5bn). I am thinking any rise ahead of news would be capped around that number. Not sure what sp that equates to. Somewhere in the region of 10p? That might be a reasonable risk/return on asset fundamentals vs deal not going through. Just my thoughts.

So still plenty of upside from here to that point. I won't be selling a share at these levels.

Today acf well and truly nailed their version of the treasure map to the mizzenmast and motley crew duly obliged and set sail for the promised land. Questions regarding hidden reefs and other dangers now duly disregarded no more dither and delay, the anchor is duly hoisted and a safe passage is nigh guaranteed. I'm not a technicals guy but it is shouting breakout to me. The limit was artificial, to an extent anyway - at the end of the day this asset is worth $1bn or it isn't, £100m mcap was an arbitrary breather. Onwards and upwards and who knows where we end this week. Week is but young.

I'd like to wish all LTH really well. Anyone with the patience to see a co like this arrive at this point, through years of sticking with it, happy days. Just wanted to offer perspective of someone who arrived to the party late.

When I invested in EUA, int he high 2p - high 3p range I looked at all the evidence that this asset was real, the sale was a distinct possibility, PGM prices et al. To me it was a bone fide investment at 3-4p range, which is why I invested. Not big for me (5% of portfolio) but for some the amount of £ would be significant. My point really is for the new investor the fact that this was 0.5p earlier is irrelevant, what matters is the upside from current price. Actually there was plenty of additional de-risking by the time I invested - warrants exercised, cash position, co confirmed no further capital raise needed or likely.

I think it is hard if you are a LTH to think something is value at 4p if you thought it was value at 0.4p. But sometimes it is. I'm pretty solidly believing this is just one of those pretty rare opportunities and again, chapeau to those who stuck with it from the lower level!

Someone went all in for 12 shares. After months of sitting on the sidelines, finally decided this was the big one.... fully de-risked and all that.

possibly, if we hit 4.5p we're in new range territory and traders won't know how to trade it. FOMO and all that. I would say todays rise gives pause for thought it you are trading, what if I stick with it. I'm not trading it but trying to think how they think it.

anyone looking at volume, I don't know what normal volume is here. Is it rising with volume? That would tell some tales

my hope is many traders exited earlier. If we have sticky hands now this should hold.

It is hard to call short term price moves and will be interesting which side of 4p we close. My sense is the research note puts to paper (nice glossy, headed paper, with neatly formatted tables of figures) numbers a lot of people have been bouncing around for a while. Kind of a self certified rubber stamp of validity. For this reason and possibly because the mining season is getting nearer (4 weeks from today is March), maybe, just maybe, the handbrakes will be off and we will start to anticipate true value. Won't be a straight line but it is looking good for a breakout from the 3.x range. All imho
