when really the only question is how much. Parties at the table, approach has been made one way or another by one or more parties, literally no other reason to suspend otherwise. Honestly, how long does it take to clarify your relationship with a bank, unless your relationship involves a complex transaction being negotiated.

Personally speaking, 25p would do, 60p very happy days indeed, anything over £1 and - well, it is by far the most I've made on a share I hadn't heard of before November.

Has to be a bid so we should really get on discussing or speculating on the price rather than anything else. What's the most we can get? If we're truly unique and the final unconsolidated palladium play?

Got to be complicated. They might have been negotiating a long time but the devil is in the detail. It is a lot more complicated than buying a car (or house) I imagine!

And I think the extra constraint comes from not want to reveal it if it doesn't happen. Maybe they are under obligation to release the bid to market if they are taking it seriously, maybe they have to do that soon. But if it's no-go maybe they don't want to announce it at all.

I concur with posters who say this is complicated, takes time, EUA are buying time with the holding RNS'. Can only see it being a deal being worked. All imho

Main thing is here once we have finance confirmed I can't see de-ramping having much effect on sp. We'll be £100m mcap+ with strong institutional support company in the process of building a mine so people can post whatever they want at that point, it is all going one way.

Finance is the key, we know it, company knows it, company confirms it is on track, we're happy. All imho

mac - the question we might ask ourselves is - do they really have it 'for sale'. They might be preparing the 'sold' sign to put on the proverbial tundra at the moment and hence the suspension.....

today was a reminder we don't have forever to invest in this share imho, the flaps are well and truly closing in on us (to borrow Dmitry cousin's paradigm).

If today isn't the final suspension, a final suspension is coming at some point in the not so distant future when the deal is done. Today, maybe the deal is 'in the offing' or 'in progress' and maybe some get another bite at the cherry maybe not.

Time running out to mining season. Somebody wants to start lifting large tranches of Pd out of the ground in April and selling them for good USD. All imho

I agree with GreenManDK. And I will add rarely, is premature, good news (pun intended). But on this occasion we'll take it. I'm even more confident at COB today of my investment here than at COB yesterday, even though I haven't had the opportunity to add or sell today. And the best thing is, news one way or another is imminent. I think we will have good news and soon....

and it's a big if (I don't think we will tomorrow morning). The eventual direction is up, in my opinion. What's changed? The assets are the assets. The timescales are the timescales - we're a couple of days closer to mining season. PGMs are still very much in demand.

And now we've had a bunch of people blindsided by the suspension, whether in or out, who will consider that there might not always be an opportunity to buy at these prices before the final suspension, which will come one day. All imho.

Also it is very easy for them to draft an RNS saying no longer dealing with Citic. It would take 5 minutes. Hell I could probably do them for it in that time and I'm no lawyer. Probably something like 'Company confirms it is no longer dealing with Citic in relationship to it's assets in xyz'.

The problem is probably that they are dealing with Citic in a market sensitive way. So they have to clarify that in a way that takes more than 1 trading session to draft. All good imho

Except - we know that's not going to happen. The proverbial cat has left the proverbial bag. The proverbial stable doors were left ajar and the preverbial horse has bolted. etc.etc.

It doesn't really matter about the tweet, things have moved on. EUA have been forced to de-list, for a full trading session, maybe more, to clarify their relationshio with China's biggest investment bank. This suggests clearly their relationship has changed, otherwise there is no need to clarify it (they could refer back to their previous relationship).

The fact we are suspended is significant. The leak/source of the leak/fake/not fake is almost irrelevant.

And why would we be surprised by approaches from 3 continents for the assets:
- NN is russian and down the road
- China is the emerging world superpower and is resource hungry and
- aren't most PGMs currently produced in SA so Russian controlled assets are at least a competitive threat

All to play for and today's shenanigans are significant, but in a good way! All imho

ok team it's chablis not champers tonight but the champers is around the corner I feel. I read a lot of positives into what happened today. If it were an easy EUA would have brushed speculation aside and business as usual. It not being so easy means something is going on (we can probably all agree on that). Waitrose keeps the champers aisle stocked for another day at least. ATB and GLA

One thing for me - the longer we suspend now, the better the news. It means they really have to get all the i's dotted and t's crossed before they release the next RNS (unless we get a further holding RNS).

To flesh out proper deal terms they can release to market might take days at least if they have been rushed by the leak. To release a nothing RNS saying actually nothing changed and re-list will take no time at all. The longer we wait, the nearer the endgame. All imho.

I'm 100% convinced they are mid deal. Rebutting is easy, they've done it before. They can't, because , well, at least some of the leak is true. But they can't disclose the facts per the regulator either because of NDA. We're in the middle of the last set of the final here guys to use a tennis analogy. All imho

because there are three big parties at least involved (EUA, Citic, a buyer) and a lot of money at stake. Means before they can say anything, a lot of legal work needs to be done. They're in catch 22 - regulator means they have to say something, NDA etc say they have to say nothing. The lawyers will work out what they can say and when. All imho.

negotiations are clearly ongoing (and probably have been for some time) you can read that just from the radio silence from the co. Given that they stated that was the intent in Oct and confirmed in Dec. I like others think a leak was in play and they had to move for fear of the regulators to get something official out there.

I think a lot of lawyers are very busy right now. Exciting times. All positive, for me.

If I've got the events in good chronological order:

1. PGMs appreciate by significant % (2019)
2. Company announces intention to market assets, appoints banks (Oct 2019)
3. Shareprice does a 10 bag
4. Kind of radio silence by company other than to confirm licence and refers back to all the earlier RNS
5. Appoint a few more key senior industry figures
6. research note reckons sale worth 60p
7. IIs spend a week doing serious loading. Massive transactions go through. SP does another bag
8. Company suspends forced to clarify relationship with China's largest investment bank following leak that multiple parties from 3 continents may have and interest assets and an agreement may have been signed, which it can't confirm or simply deny in an RNS at this point.

All good IMHO...

in a way the holding RNS would be good. It suggests serious negotiation nearing conclusion. Yes it means we don't get an answer asap but it tells us there is something on the table meaty enough for Dmitry et al to be prepared to sit down and pour over the fine details. I'd be very happy with a confirmation of bid(s) on table with no further info available (yet). Surely to god the company knows what assets they are sitting on, what cards they hold, so once we have a confirmed approach, it all starts to come together nicely.
