So the ASC price drop to 4500 is likely due to my buying them!

I've been lurking, reading the BBs, tax returning, fixing leaky kitchen tap.

T - Not sold my ASC, I keep missing the bounces as not staring at the screen all day and often see the top but wait, to the fall! Actually bought MORE ASC at 4550 to average the 4700 ones down, so should be able to move some / most today!

S - SNG! SNG! rah rah rah. My biggest loser, when results of phase 2 trials come out, and/or approval for Covid, COPD etc. then the price will rise ... back to £2 or not I don't know.

S - I started in March this year on shares, thanks to help and support from you and T and others .. before you started the Brigade. Many thanks!

I had a few cheap - sub penny shares, like UFO and 7DIG, and by May I had GGP at 7 / 8 p ... traded until about 11/12p, then held the core holding. Bought more at 16p, 20p and some to trade again in the 20 - 22p range, so holding my core at a good price, worked out my profits on the same number of dearer share sells, so more to come!
I do expect GGP to rise more and more, I'll look at buying back in but doubt we will see 20, 22p again in GGP !

I thought you had held them since sub 1p, still a good haul! After taking profits lately I am still 88% up on my holding, I think average is 15p?

Only real loser at moment as you will know is SNG ... well down on those!

T - Yeah, it seems to have established a pattern again, but back in the high 4500's to low 4600's ... last weeks gains gone - thanks to that pesky vaccine ;-))

Gimme a day or two and I'll be back on the horse!

T - Intended to sell ASC on the spike, I wasn't on screen just then but had set a limit sell for 4700 - but didn't activate. Watched and dithered at 4660's and now it's 4575.
Great example of spike and shake!
I presume the drop was on vaccine news? SNG down a little too, NCYT back a bit etc.

S - yeah, it's counter-intuitive to buy back at a higher price, unless you can see it continuing to rise. Even though you have the profit in the pocket from the first trade,... looking for a reasonable eentry point for the GGP extra shares as I do think it will continue to rise!

Missed good chance today on ASC, sat watching them tease in the 4680's ... didn't sell as hope for more climb ( still in loss then ) and later fell back into 4640's, which would have cleared the loss and more! Maybe tomorrow.....

M - yep, tempted to sell ASC at 4680 ish, dithered and they fell a bit! I'll let you all know when I sell ASC on a spike as the price will rise rapidly!!!

S - Have you been around Lewis Hamilton roo much? Seems he's tested positive for Covid 3 times and is now in isolation.

T - the lockdown / tier 3 stuff seems to work - Liverpool region, NE, all seen >30% drop in cases. Liverpool city where the testing was trialled dropped from over 700 cases to 100 cases per 100,000 population. Painful to businesses but works after the 2 week lag.

S - Nice! GGP at 27p for quite a while! Oddly shown as 26.25 on close!!
Missed the spike on ASC at 4666 .... HL kept offering under the SP ... so I waited and retried but kept going down. Still would have been a little loss but expected to buy back tomorrow say 4500??

Nice GGP price rise, I think some profit taking occurred as price fallen back to 25.75p, if it goes lower I'll top back up.

ASC looked on a nice rise, waited too long now fallen back a bit, hopefully soon reach my buy in price!

M - Loved 2 pints TV too! As it was "set" where I worked, I knew many of the locations used, even the Archer pub! It had the show's name plaque on a wall inside, after the show closed. Shame, it's now a Buddhist retreat!

So several resource reports, NWC 6 weekly update, GGP AGM, possibly MRE, and addition to new funds and top up by GDJX fund in Dec.

I intended to hold these until they boomed, been in since 7p but traded those, still buying at 16p, 20p, 21p generally put in the profits when worth it / price was right, for double ( triple + ) whammy!!
Keeping the rest, may trade those I buy back if possible!! I'd like 20p again!!!

Now poke that SNG beast!!!

T - watching ASC, missed initial rise, too fast! Now bubbling along in it's "new" trading range, 4440-4500. I expect they will recover with online shopping thru lockdown / tier 2 & 3, xmas, black friday etc. Otherwise if they establish a partters will trade spikes/shakes again.

S - If you are in Devon is that Tier 1 next week? Thought you were in Kent for some reason! See the NE is mainly in Tier 3, the eldest is in Durham, he may be able to come here at xmas for a few days but looks like I'll have to do the 165 miles each way. Co-incidently I pass Barnard Castle either right thru it or bypass it on A1(M)!!!

Bit of selling regret on GGP as they moved on up, not a bad time to sell a few S and R and other GGPers. Although I still think it's looking good for first 10 days of Dec.

R - Can I order 2 pints of Substantial Meal draught and a pint of lager please!

S - yes, dropped on lucky with GGP sale of a few to trade, forgot I had a limit sell set for 23.5 p, which was nice!

I expect them to do well in first 10 days December with all the reports and announcements due, so good to buy some back before then!!

Evening all,

Just been watching the SP's on and off today, waiting on a rise in ASC and SNG and a fall in GGP ( to buy back! ). All quiet on the western front.

Read that the Pfizer vaccine may not get USA emergency approval. And as we know, the Oxford/AZN trial was flawed when the gave the wrong dose ( 1/2 and then full ) to some participants, and seems the 90% efficacy was for under 50's, and the 60% was for the over 55's. So AZN are going to rerun the trials before they can get approval! Moderna virus seems to have ( undisclosed?? Rumour? ) severe adverse effects...

May affect the travel and hospitality markets, bring up the covid shares???

Ohh yeah, looks like around me we will drop down to Tier 2 from next week!

S - LOL a RS232 interface. Who else will remember those!
I remember at work the photocopier cartridges and laser printers would "run out" but if we shook them we got a few more weeks out of them!
If you have refilled a few times, it would likely work with a new cart.
My old printer had a secret counter that said it was broken after a certain number of prints... it was a scam and if you emptied the waste bottle it worked again for ages!

Shake the cartridges then put them back in, turn off and on.

I have an superb Epson XP-750 - photo printer, double sides print, wifi/USB connectable, with scanner on top to photocopy or scan to PC. 6 ink cartridges, and yes I do use copy carts ex Amazon and every 3rd change use genuine Epson ones ( at £60 set! ). Cost around £170 in 2013, if available now about £130. Will be updated versions.

Great all in one printer!

R - Very astute! Bourbon creams work well ..... and ginger nuts!

S - Have you tried turning it off and on again? Is it plugged in...? Are you using genuine cartridges ( or good compatible ones you know work? )
What's the actual problem? PC can't see Printer ( check cable, check drivers, restart PC, if wifi reconnect, check which port it is using ... )
