Markets seems to like it, pound up etc.

S - ta! Checked the charts, yep, absolutely rapid £1.20+ rise in 45 seconds, fell back 40p ... WHY!!!! Never mind... just happy to be out of a high price position with no loss for a change!
I'd been avidly watching the rise and fall 4700 ... 4670 ... for half an hour and plumped to sell on a slight profit just to get out .... hadn't checked for any RNS etc. as on phone so didn't expect such a rise then ... I have held on a small profit before several times on this trance and watched them fall right back, as T tells me off for waiting for the last 10 p!!!

Sold early twice this week!!!

Ohh well, new years resolution, DO IT RIGHT!!!

We'll see what tomorrow brings.....

Waited ages to sell my 4697 ASC, sold just now at 4699, £1 profit, by time I get back to my portfolio screen, ASC were 4823 !!!!!!!!!!

I think it was HL playing silly sods as it's 4687 now....

Sold them as they were at the top of the movement range lately. At least got capital and fees back!
Didn't buy in earlier at the 4590's , been away from PC and hard to do on phone. Xmas grub collection etc.

I see on BBC News VERY close to EU deal. likely tonight!
Oxford/AZ have applied for approval to MHRA with full sata set.... waiting on that one!

Just back from my round trip to Barnard Castle. Out before 10;30!!!
Really!!!
Quick pit stop at the son's to drop off xmas dinner stuff and prezzies, then back on the motorway!
Tried to keep an eye once stopped driving but nothing exciting then ASC were about 4590?

T - I'll keep an eye / set a low limit buy on ASC probably and see how it goes.

Not yet, hoped it would keep rising after it hit 4670 ( sold too early, 50p too early! ) into the 4700's then I can sell on a profit.

Had a limit sell order rejected - outside market size - looks like price fell rapidly after hitting the sell so below my price ( on the ones I sold but more shares left than it was trying to sell!)

S - yes, watching SNG crawl back up ... not a good idea to get those ASC at end of Friday!

T - Tier 2 still here.
Xmas is basically do nothing! Eldest in Durham is going to stay there after all, we'll drive up with presents and stuff to do his own dinner... 166 miles each way and be there maybe 5 minutes at the end of the drive!!!

Was possible to meet up at sister in laws with her other sister and us, but not likely now. I've got xmas dinner in the freezer, delivery today with rest of the stuff and a collection on Wednesday with the last fresh stuff. For 3 of us!

I am probably more concerned now at the state of the virus, measures etc. than any time since the first lockdown. Particularly with the world quarantining the UK cos of this new variant of novel corona virus!

ASC has been a nuisance today, not sure if it's going to fall or rise .....

Missed the peak of SNG at 146 ( have a few bought at 102 to sell!, rest are nearer / over the recent 175 offer price! ).
Limit sell on the cheaper ISA SNG's triggered, set at 120 worked at 132!! Nice bonus!

Comments seem to say the last sticking point is fishing, and I think that can be almost a give-a-way based on how much of our fish / quota UK actually use ... and oddly we import over 1/2 our fish FROM Europe! ( maybe that's why they wat to continue! ).

Weirdly, BBC news still saying USA approved the Moderna vac. Although they do still say it's from Trump's tweet.
Trump now tweeted distribution can start now!!!

Looks like the Moderna vaccine has been approved in USA.

T - missed the spike @ 4723 just before , as I sold too early yesterday @ 4570 - if I had held to today would have been £1.20 a share more profit ( just happy to get capital back! ) I held on and didn't sell, so still got this lot of ASC. HL kept offering a few p below the sell price too!

No, didn't buy back in this mornings dip, as it was only slightly below my sell price, so I would have been 1 share better off!
But of course by close I would have been about £1.40 a share up!
DOH!

T - yep, thanks! These have been here for over a week, the others nearly a month!
Watching the intraday chart, I could see where I would have bought and sold. But was out of cash!
Tried the sell at a loss and buy back lower to offset, sometimes worked, but lately I bought back in and share kept falling so double jeopardy! ASC for example!
