Who was in CINE - still up in the 40's .. which is nice. Once over 46 I can offload the earlier CINE shares!

Well, my old favourites GGP, ODX, ADBX and NCYT are all down more, and I topped up last week expecting a bounce / spike!
Others steady if at a low price....

Watch and wait seems to be the game today!

Crisp and cold but dry and bright up here.
Dull and windy in the p/f !! Pretty much everything down, even GGP ! And ABDX, now below the rights issue price.

T - yes, I am still in DARK, had a couple of trades when they were in the 600p area, got left holding some in high 500p area when they suddenly dropped. Watching them ( and NCYT ) recently they look a little volatile at their new range - 370 - 440p ... ( and NCYT in the 300 - 340p range ).

O - nice story about the Serb, always fun to read your thoughts! Spelling included!

While I have some available cash in the ISA account I'll have to start looking at shares with movement to get a few trades in rather than my usual half dozen. I'll have a look at those mentioned here as a start.

Dull dark wet and windy here, a bit of snow earlier!

T - no, didn't even see a 36p price for CINE, just low / mid 37's ... hardly any less than I sold for, as I was expecting a bit of a fall back lower... I'm watching them in case they do drop, and to move the 46p CINE!
Watching ODX as they have fallen this week...

Bristol statues - there were a couple more around UK cities ( say Liverpool as a big centre for slave trade many years ago ) , damaged or pulled down. It's all still criminal damage no what what the cause ... as they believed they were doing it for the right reasons ( sure that was an excuse in wars!! ) although does look like trying to change history.

Another late Happy New Year to one and all! I hope everyone had a happy and healthy new year!!!

Bright, crisp and COLD here, been outside removing the xmas lights!

Was surprised with CINE this morning, wondered why some on here were pleased with their movement - looked like still 31p to me - until I looked closer and it was 37p!!!
Sold a little early the trading share pot bought on the drop the other week @ 31p, sold at 38p ... a little early it seems but 17% profit there... still have the other half of the holding at 46p so all being well they will be in profit soon! Surprised on the move up - unless on (good) news of no further restrictions / lockdown ... although Sony have postponed one of their big films from Jan to April ... ( Morbius ).

Rest of my shares are still down, still small profit on the ABDX rights issue but didn't sell at the peak before xmas.... SNG fell back... GGP falling again... likely to buy trading shares of GGP if they fall back more!

Well, that's xmas over ... just new years to go!

Looks like no new restrictions in England today.....

Hi all,

I'm a bit late to the party today!
Bit of a lie in, then xmas stuff, then looking for a new laptop for the eldest as his is over 8 years old from when he went off to uni and won't play current games ( Intel i7 3rd gen, Nvidia 650 graphics, DDR3 memory... ) ... lots of much faster better laptops that will last him another 8 years for about the price his was 8 years ago! I need to catch up on laptop specs as I normally only look at desktop stuff!

Panicked earlier - forgot markets shut at 12:30 today, looked like I had lost loads! But not really!

Well, it's been fun here if a bit quieter for the last 6 months, and profit wise... made profits here and there using the "spare" cash / trading fund, but still long on several shares bought near the top, but allowing for that some nice profit realised assuming break even on the other shares! Maybe next year...

It's been fun reading the long ( O and T !! ) posts and market insights, and the short posts too, bit of a no risk community we have here.

So here's to next year, better markets, volatility and profits for all in the RBB!

T - thanks, journey up was slow but moving OK, very busy with traffic. Return journey much less traffic, but torrential rain on m'way! All back safe tho.

Cold and wet here today, rest of shopping arrived ( Thanks Ocado! ).

p/f up surprisingly tis morning ... looks like GGP had a spurt and my latest trading tranche sold on a limit sell making a good profit - 26% !!! Nice! S & NB - did you have any trading / low cost price GGP to sell on the rise?

Also sold MARS yesterday for 10% profit, although up another 2p today so could have had another 2.5% ... although it's only £100 on 5000 shares @ 65p cost SP !!

Looks like my entitlement for ABDX was called back after all ... got about double the bse offer instead of 5 x I asked for .. and sp is 5p up un offer price, whenever they get admitted to LSE for trading!

DJ, O, Same with Plus 500 - nice divi but as based in Israel, listed on LSE, it's tax at source - I think circa 20%
I sked HL to register my account to recover the tax withheld, who stated they didn't offer that service, and there was a form to complete and fill in and sent to Israel !!

As tax withheld at source / overseas it's just another line on the SA tax return; not sure about CGT on any sale profits though...

Very cold here today, failry bright. Been out to collect the xmas dinner supplies.

Off up north later to pick up the eldest from Durham ... hope the roads are clear !

Been AWOL !! Watched the shares but no real change till today ....
Booster jab on Friday evening, no problems just a slight sore arm at the injection site!!
Cold here today but at least no rain or snow.

DJ - UFO - I traded them last near 2 years ( !!! wow.. ) as I liked the ticker! and seemed a reasonable, cheap penny share, with prospects. Did OK a few times as they rose from 0.4p to over 3p ... but got stuck a little with some at near 2p !! Which I still have... sold the trading tranche as they were bouncing around 0.6-0.75p.

MARS still rising slowly.. in profit about 8% at the moment .. let 'em rise!
Just in profit on cheapest CINE, and last SNG I hold. But will hold on.

All GGP ers - S, M?, the GGP JV partner NCM have made an offer for the "spare" 5% of Haverion they are entitled to at fair market price, by med Feb 22, as they have met their funding / drilling commitments, and GGP has shot up today from sub 13p to mid 15p .. although falling back a bit now as I guess profit taking.
All looking good there.
I Think I now have nearly as many shares in GGP s S has!!! ;-)

M - Hope the lad is doing OK, is this the one staying with you? Regular testing and good Lancashire ale will help ward it off!
ODX falling ... but ABDX still above the offer price - did I say I got my full requested amount at 25p, so 5000 extra shares there once they come to market this week.

Dull and wet here, but I've been out to watch the new Spiderman movie after I looked at my p/f this morning... it's got a little better since!

In small profit on MARS, got all my requested allocation of ABDX at 25p, current sp 30p ... CINE has recovered a little but just at my buy price for 1/2 the shares I hold there so no profit yet - don't see a spike yet, a gradual rise and fall of about 1-2p...
GGP down more! Doh!

Booster jab due tomorrow evening, should be fine!

S - ARB .. yes, were normal level and for some reason shot to over £2 ... I traded them a few times but got stuck at about 180p ... I also thought they would follow BTC up, especially with their new Texas farm and buying the mining kit they were leasing!

Hopefully all my poor performers get their vaccinations and get well in the new year!

Booster 3rd jab on Friday evening, likely Pfizer one, people local saying they had sore arms for a few days or they had headaches and fever! Hope not, but it's weekend so all fine!

TD - As I said above, I topped up CINE yesterday at 44p ... that's my good timing again... seem to be a jinx share for me a I lost last year on their drop from the 8-'s to 30's ... and the tale of a stop loss!!!!

M - it is a SUNNY day here too, crisp, damp on the ground but glorious winter sun!

No longer in any profit on MARS, CINE fell, ODX down a bit, GGP rolling back to 13/1p ( and yes I did buy GGP yesterday! ) ...

Anyone stil in ARB? Still under £1 ... DARK under £4 but hovering around there.... SNG rising nicely, only bit of blue in my p/f and I only have a few now... albeit in small profit!
ASC and CCL are quite down on recent weeks ...

Afternoon all,

Dull, dark, dingy, damp, foggy this morning and now yet not too cold here today!

Much of my p/f still down... my trading tranches not doing too bad - ABDX made me over 10% profit today, UFO 7%, bought back into MARS- already up £30! , more CINE and more GGP ! These are for trading once they move up a few p...

Waiting on the ABDX rights issue, decided to "ask" for more that the allotment, at 25p issue price, currently 29.5p ... finalised tomorrow noon, paid 16th ... have to check when they are admitted for trading... and what the price does during this!

Poor ODX... DHSC want their pre-funding ( for manufacturing LTF's ) BACK as the contract has expired and Govt didn't call on ODX to make anything, or even which test to make!
But their Mologic test in the market has been confirmed to detect the transformer covid...Omicron!

A slight problem, I hadn't updated my list of tranches so sold my 23p ODX again, at 31.8p ... but they were really my 42p tranche! Whoops, bit of a loss! Amateur or what.

I am wondering if I should ditch the high priced shares soon, rather than wait for a rise.... it will cost quite a bit... although I would have cash to trade at these current levels, as M says, some fluctuation daily on several...

N - well done on the rises, hope it continues, I am with you on GGP ... even though I bought more today at 13.7 ...

ODX suddenly flying ... apparently their Mologic product is on the EU list for discussion / approval!

M - posts crossed. That box was NOT there the last few hours I was moaning!!! Maybe it appeared after they got my mail!!!!

So, I can now proceed if I want .. offer at 25p, current buy price 29p ... 10k of my shares were at 28p !

Thanks for that, I only saw the RNS announcing this "open entitlement" placing on LSE the other day, not had ANYTHING from HL on what to do / how to accept! Or price ( apart from in RNS ). There was an entry on the ABDX summary page for the new 835 shares with a reference number and a link Corporate Actions which took me to the help page! No accept button to press as I had when another company was taken over, or the SNG I think offer placing a few months ago.

Mailed HL, I await info ... the 12th closes in!
