Otherwise the market has me stumped... capital tied up and don't know what I would buy with this years ISA money... so it's watch and wait again!

Very warm, sunny here. Got the pl;ants out of the little greenhouse in the sun - looks like a couple got nipped by frost in the last couple of days!
Car shortages abound - people I know who lease had a 9 month wait on their preferred cars last month, ended up with what ever was available so a Kia instead of a Jaguar! Might be OK for people selling their current car as prices rising...

Not been pay9ng much attention to my p/f.. it's steady and still down.. waiting for some rises and volatility!

Eldest came down from Durham for a long weekend stay last week, ended up staying over a week as his landlady came down with Covid! He's safe and staying with girlfriend until landlady gets negative test! I'll have to post him hos easter eggs ... he came / went by train.

Crisp and sunny here last couple of days, had a little hail yesterday afternoon but otherwise dry.

Been reading on here but had nothing to say as my shares are hardly moving so old ones still at a loss and no movement / volatility for shake and spike trades. Avoiding going into other share just now...
Topped up GGP again as trading shares... holding way too many now as looks like 1/2 my capital in each fund and isa accounts in GGP...!

Was away a few days last week at a wedding in Derby / Belper, and some walks in the area, to pub lunch etc. Nice break.

C - well done old chap, jealous re: your GP trip. One day I'll make it!
F1 this year looks interesting - less train around the track and more nip and tuck, pass & re-pass, fun! All looks closer down the field.

Welcome back C - to the Brigade and trading .. good luck. Sorry to hear the other news though.

I had posted the other day but refreshed page before posting so lost it!

Had done a fair trade on DARK, then as they continued to rise into the 500's ( I sold at 400 ! ) I didn't buy back in as that's how I have got stuck with expensive shares if they fall back quickly.
SNG - it dropped to 16p for a few hours, I was tempted to buy quite a lot but wasn't sure IF they would rise, go bust etc. then back to 23p next day! Ohh well!

Saw CINE drop under 30p, again tempted but didn't and Bang! back into 33's ... Same with MARS..... drop to under 68, popped back up to 73+.

SO topped up the big loss shares - SYME, ODX, ABDX. yesterday.
ODX up £30 holding on to them. SYME up from 0.0645 to .1125 .. 64%, sold sold yesterdays for nice 63.6% profit. On a small capital but still better than 50% return!!!
ABDX not moved so down by the spread and fees.

Missed out on GGP yesterday - hit 17p, could have sold a lot in mid 16's for nice profit ( bought in 13p area ) but they fell to 15.3 .. I waited ... now 14.4 ... could have sold and bought back at least 2 p cheaper! Ohh well .... getting out of practice.

I'm doing a couple of trades a week at best, little movement / volatility in the stocks I hold.. slow movement on a few!

Afternoon all,

Sunny, calm just a little cold here.

Bad news re: Ukraine... Russian "precision bombing of military targets " yet 100+ dead including civilians, airport captured etc. Hopefully as late night BBC news said, could be all over in a few days.... but who wins? As said above, likely Putin gets Ukraine ( as a vassal state? Own installed leaders... ) and seems likely as EU/UK govts saying we will harbour the "absent Government" of Ukraine.. the legitimate one!

Why is Putin doing this - what does he want? To rebuild Russia ( USSR ) in his image!

Also on the news were commentators stating Russian people are against this land grab/invasion/war and protesting despite a very good chance of arrest and disappearing .. and even stated the sanctions and hardship in Russia shortly will lead to a coup or assassination of Putin! By his close chummies as they can't get their money or yachts!!

Oddly, everything in my Watchlist - not just what I hold but about 40 stocks - are UP today!
DARK rising steadily - threat of war / cyberwar helps them !! - and my trading shares in DARK made 13% profit... although sold too early as they hit 412p ( I sold at 400p ).
CINE up too for those still in there.

Cold,wet, very windy here. Fences and trees all OK so far though!

P/F still down, only really trading CINE and DARK and just down on those right now.

SNG - Yes, I have a few left but 83% drop was a surprise! Could have sold for small profit 2 weeks ago.... Another Brigadeer was holding a number of SNG but had indicated he was selling up on them a couple of weeks ago - hope so!
Basically the anti-viral ( and covid ) superdrug, inhaled, no side effects, didn't not do well in phase 3 trials - likely as normal treatment has improved from the very good phase 2 trials, negating the benefit of SNG001.
Looks like play the spikes / shakes game on these now!!!

Overall I think the medical / testing / covid stocks have had their highs and will now trade at their lows... I see NCYT, ODX, ABDX and SNG have been down for a few weeks. Time to decide when to cut my losses on these ( albeit a rights issue on IDX at 5p this week! ) ...

Hope everyone else is doing better / less worse!

Sold my cheap trading CINE for 10.5% profit this morning... I was watching for the high point ( Yes T I was up earlyish! ) and working out when i could sell my old higher priced ( 57p ) CINE too and still be overall in profit but with more capital back... and realised HL had sold them for me earlier( the trading shares ) at 40.77p... Ha!

Good Rugby tonight - the proper LEAGUE stuff, St.Helens stuffed the French Catalans and they got a sin bin and a red card/sending off ( hence some games ban! ) hehehe.... our new guys did really well too!

Nice and sunny up here, windy and cold though.

Nice to see CINE continue to rise, part based on Boris' statement on relaxing Covid measures soon and isolations maybe a month earlier. Travel companies looked to be on a rise too.
DARK has gained a large order and is on the rise...
MCRO seems on the up today after it's figures on Tuesday - Divi due soon and has been increased .. ex divi date 10 March...

Bright, cool but dry here today.

Looks like many shares are up today after being down for the last week or so, so 1/2 my CINE are in profit by 6% and rising...
UFO still on the climb - was it TD who is in them big? I have a few but at 1.5p ish!
Looks like DARK still in the 360 - 410p range so tradeable over a few days, but my X shares are still stuck low and little movement - although ODX seems to be cycling 9.5 - 12p range so opportunities there!

Bright cool dry day here.

Most of my /f has dropped again, GGP rising slowly so as 1/2 my holding is at 11,12p, trading shares at 14-16p and others in the 20' s I have options!!

S - Jope you did sell off your SNG the other day as they have dropped 10% since!

T - YEs, like many of my little shares / covod / pharma / diagnostics, they are creeping up or bobbing about. Shame I didn't grab some very cheap ODX at 6.5p as they are now 11p ... ohh well! Avoided cheap NCYT ( hardly moved ) ABDX ( hardly moved ) too.

CINE are showing movement, may be tradeable on a 4p / couple days trend, and DARK still seem a tradeable shares with around 40p / couple days movement...

MARS I sold out of a couple of weeks have stayed up and look good!

But watching just now to decide ....

S - yes still have a few SNG, waiting on them getting over 210 for a profit. Sold 1/2 at a fair profit, then sold most of the rest on a limit sell I forgot to cancel, at a loss! Doh!

T - Not followed Mark Miniverni yet, had a look now and again on Twitter, guess I should follow him! ODX .. ohhh dear, dropped over 30% today, but really over 50% since Friday close, apparently on rumours of a fundraise - which ODX confirmed but said was not necessary yet! Market didn't like that! And with this new CEO ... not looking good. I had been averaging down as they were a reasonable trading share recently, but will wait for a rights issue or similar before getting any more.
It is looking like I'll need to move on from ODX, ABDX, NCYT, SNG ...

Bloomberg seem to be saying Euro areas markets will be most resilient and recover best this year, and warning signs on the S&P 500 .....

N - That's why I came on here / started trying to trade 2 years ago ... wow time flies!

I got so irritated at the 0.05% interest rate, up to 0.2% in building societies and if lucky 0.6% in a multi year ISA ... I thought let's see if I can do better!

With the help, mainly from the now RBBers from the chat on the OCDO board ( T, S to start with ) I got the hang of it.
Did OK first 6 months, got a bit stuck as prices fell, did OK later and was actually over 40% up by xmas ... IF I had sold ( a lot of it to do with GGP rise! ).

Still doing better than 0.6% on trades, just overall pot is well down this last few months, so as DJ I think it was said, hold for a while, and I'll trade with spare capital if see any opportunities!
At these low prices, if the companies survive they should be worth a few bags ... e.g. ODX now under 12p, was over 50p last November!

All quiet on the portfolio front, this weeks drops are annoy9ing, especially after I topped up a few shares when I thought they had bottomed! Alas no.

NCYT dropped a lot, after financials / look ahead that Generally met the expectations!

Sunny, cool but not freezing here, even washed the cars today!

I'm down yet again on held p/f, even trading tranches are down. Not really sure why ... so it's still a watching game.

Glad some of us are doing a bit, hope it goes well!

Wonder where T, S, M, n, etc. even R are? O is about somewhere! Hope all are well and avoided the Novak disease!
