I agree with the Rockefeller comparison some crazy things going on but some crazy people are making money.

Just to clarify sold out of Lloyd's at a loss and bought avct on the back of Covid19 testing hype as per previous post...just a gamble hopefully it will work out

I hope so.....topped up sipp in march and invested poorly, trying to rebalance now but wish I new about Covid19 testing a month or so ago.

Low interest rates were meant to be a temporary measure before returning to normal levels but over 10 years later it never happened. I think higher unemployment levels and higher levels of government borrowing will also become the norm in spite of experts saying they will return to historic levels. It just becomes the normal way of running things. Certain share prices will also adjust lower and become normal this looks like becoming one of them so sold my holding at a loss and decided what the f@ck took a gamble and put it in avct to jump on the bandwagon there. If I recover my losses will look to return to more stable companies like Lloyd's when safe dividend payments return along with stable share price movements with an upwards trend. GLA

Been watching nearly bought at 47p but hesitated just sold all Lloyd's shares at a loss in mine and wife isa and sipp accounts and invested here. Paid too much but what the hell hopefully recoup llods losses sometime down the road.

Strange that the share prices seem to drop to the placing price well in advance of a placing that no one is supposed to know about. This share has been on such a slippery slope I really hope for all LTH's that when they resume validation progress is swift and commercial success is as big as anticipated so our patience is finally rewarded......just going to have to wait a little bit longer again!

They've done well to raise vital funds and this enforced delay if anything will leave them more prepared to meet revised timescales which I think would have occurred regardless. It's reassuring and positive news that they can keep going through this difficult period.

Amazing how this sp gets hammered when footsie drops and stays battered when it goes up. This murata deal is so important thought we'd be kept informed. As there is no news can only assume everything is on track and has not been affected one iota by this global lockdown so if after this sp battering AK delivers bad news then he should replay his proactive interview for a reminder of what he said.

Governments health service budgets are going to be decimated. The requirement for cancer treatment is not going to go away and the prospect of spending 200m on cyclotron technology or 20m on AVO is a no brainer. However, I'm sure this final phase of development is going to be affected, to what extent we'll have to wait and see but a reassuring update would be much appreciated.

I'm a LTH here because I haven't got a clue what's going on....how anyone makes money trading is a mystery.

If they keep on announcing orders at this rate the value of the RNS that confirms certification etc has been completed is going to be massive as it will unlock 100's of millions of pounds worth of deals. I'd love to know what's going on at Daresbury....they must all be signed up to secrecy clauses. I'd be surprised if we don't see this reported on national t.v when it's all up and running because this is really ground breaking stuff.

I think some LTH's probably have reservations having seen the previous Chinese orders cancelled and uncertainty regarding the exact status of the Daresbury machine. But this is far more advanced than back then with the prospect of soon having a fully assembled machine. The recent news is really positive but looks like we are going to have to wait for validation for Avo's true value to be recognised. I also think in the meantime we'll hear of more pipeline orders securing the 8 machines per annum manufacturing capacity. The anticipation is such that this is going to be well worth watching the story unfold......finally!

I'm heavily invested here and staying put. The gamble for newcomers is will they complete validation before the money runs out. If yes I believe some commercial success will follow which will result in a higher share price rewarding existing shareholders. Then further funds will be required to advance production. If validation is delayed then further dilution will probably occur. Where the share price will settle through this process is anyones guess.

If you'd followed this company for a few years you would see that everything has changed so much that no one here will know where things are really at. But in spite of all the ups and downs the one thing we do know is they continue to work towards completing this machine and one day soon I hope they make the big announcement we are all waiting in the dark for!

For it to be on their website the content must of been vetted and approved but I think they are probably stretching the truth a bit. When that machine is firing protons through every module at full speed I'm sure there will be plenty news.

AK said his piece promising regular updates and more transparency. The murata deal looks good we've all seen the figures and we investors have backed it with cash. If he doesn't deliver this time I think we'll all turn into Open so let's hope for the best & a bit more!

Definitely don't assume lse trade information is correct. ADVFN had the 600k trade in their unknown column because it was not clearly a buy or sell.

There are numerous advantages with Avo's technology that their information explains in a simple enough way to understand and see how huge the potential is. That's not really up for debate and is why I have invested. I just hope they get it working and can grow market share quickly as it's not always the best technologies that succeed.....proven, improving technology mass produced and low cost can swamp a market killing off potentially great products.

I don't think that will happen here if next year goes to plan because of the significance of proton beam therapy and Avo's product is a real milestone in it's development.

Well I went against what my head was telling me and subscribed to the open offer having previously bought a load more around 4p after the Chairman's statement. Whilst not a lot has come to fruition they have been dependent on 3rd parties and have little or no control over timescales frustrating as it is.

This Murata deal puts them in a completely different place in forecasting revenues and if some unexpected deals drop in occasionally then they become the icing on the cake but could also be massive on their own.
