TD.....thanks for providing that information as they not only uses CPX products but it's an area of technology which has a huge market. If you look into LoRo Wan applications it provides a reminder of the potential business opportunity for CPX and the new manufacturing facility will help meet the demand. In a strange way covid19 will probably help speed up the roll out of this technology as it helps reduce the need for people mobility.....social distancing is the new way to go.

Considering how unique these UPS's with supercapacitors are you would think that CPX would be promoting these stories for marketing purposes.

What would be more interesting is to know is why Jeff Coulton didn't go to xs power considering his involvement with those products and the benefit of business continuity that would of provided. I still can't believe xs power appear to be able to sell those products without any liability resulting from the ioxus court case.

TD....I'm not sure anything is going on in the background. Jeff Colton obviously new ioxus were going down and probably got introduced to CPX via a recruitment consultant and with a strong CV convinced CPX he could grow some new business for them. But with xs power now selling those auto products and no news from CPX of potential customers for that market we can only assume he is focussing on CPX prizmacap opportunities but would like to hear otherwise if anyone has information.

PC01 & TD...Agree with comments it does seem that whilst this technology without doubt has a great future the obstacles that have come along have been quite unbelievable. It looks like they can work through this latest set back which is an achievement in itself. I'm just going to keep hold of my shares and wait for when eventually things fall into place hopefully towards the end of this year now.

Yes and my experience of AIM is no news is not good news but not surprised by the announcement so patience has been reset to the new timescales. One think I am surprised at is that XS Power by continuing to sell Ioxus products are not liable for patent infringement costs.

I'm sure all is on track just think it would be good for investor relations and the share price to provide an update as AK said so himself in the proactive interview at just before 6mins about looking forward to providing investors with updates on progress. Irrespective of the lack of news if all goes well this is going to be transformational so I will be patient and wait for timescales outlined in the last RNS.

I must agree TD.....although I believe the outcome of what we are waiting for will be positive it is strange not to be communicating on progress particularly as there is rightly a concern on how covid19 may be affecting the ongoing works. I recently invested in avct and that is a real eye opener on how to engage with investors....polar opposite of what is going on here.

Thanks RK for the link it's really refreshing when a company is engaging with shareholders like avct is at present. Also a sign of complete confidence that expectations will be delivered. This is so unlike many other AIM companies that don't communicate......a real breath of fresh air.

Interesting that in today's briefing the government announce over a £100m funding to develop a vaccine and even suggest September as a possible date. However, news reports mention Boris as saying a vaccine may never be created. I'm surprised they don't outline a Plan B being virus treatments combined with mass testing as along with Friday's RNS there are also antibody treatments being developed so would be a much more likely outcome in the near to medium term. This option would also require serious investment and resource and it looks like AZN are doing the vaccine so perhaps another big pharma will have to take on development of treatment solutions......guess will hear about it when a deal is done.

I remember seeing asos at £1 and thinking it was expensive as it wasn't long before that it was in the pennies......it went on to over £70. Won't be making the same mistake here I hope with good news on covid19 testing it can become a £1B company and then if a takeover happens at 3 to 5 times that value I don't care who it is!

Frac.....that could be good news does anyone know for sure that the IP infringement case against maxwell includes the products mentioned, if so it will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Could do with Elon Musk influence on the Board at CPX as that would make the share price rocket.

Ceramic capacitors are different to supercapacitors but if the news that orders for these haven't declined means that supercapacitor orders have remained robust then this is positive. However the decline in automotive is a concern as this is a key market for CPX. The murata equipment relocation project and infringement cases are going to be significant pieces of news that will benefit the share price and I think these will both progress well in spite of the current covid19 situation.

That article is 10yrs old I don't know if you have noticed but there are a number of manufacturers producing electric vehicles powered by batteries that are actually for sale now.....I think one company quite well known is called something like Tesla....try looking it up

I wouldn't get too excited about this appointment.....he obviously left a sinking ship and can only be judged on his success at CPX of which we are waiting results. If he proves himself then great but you'd expect news as ioxus have gone bust, have faulty products that have been recalled and have been badly trying to use CPX IP. If he can't sell against that he should get another job.
