The orat procedures evaluate the readiness of facilities, equipment, systems and trained personnel. Security is part of this and wsg should mention their role if they have one

My view is that if wsg were involved in the orat trials PF would have shouted it from the rooftops I suspect wsg are not yet ready to start but they cannot delay the terminal opening for them It seems a bit of a downbeat local affair A grand opening and international promotion may occur at a later date All imho

On the face of it not much was said, but confirms mRNA work is still to be done- no immune response data yet
N4p/Medimmune prioritised the pDNA work-who knows if they tested HPV or not.
If they did, this could represent half their data, in addition to OVA, and is in an indication likely to work for inovio at least. A uniquest spin off is also developing an HPV vaccine (prof frazer)

Medimmune want N4 to use nuvec with alternative tool antigen and provide more immune response data supporting efficacy.They also want them to manufacture and characterised it. Medi cannot do the latter two or they will own almost the whole thing.

Re the collaboration- its on hold until later in the year

As we stated in the RNS about our recent placement we will be undertaking similar work with mRNA to that already done with DNA. I’m sure you will realise that I cannot comment any further on specific results from the grant work or discussions with third parties other than what we stated in the recent RNS

Nigel replied to the below questions: No comment on 2 and 3 (as expected) Re qu1 they are undertaking similar work on mRNA as already done on pDNA (ie it is still in process, using same version of nuvec)

Thanks baggy- this is helpful There will be journal publication to follow which they can reference This will form the basis of a data package for a version of nuvec which delivers pDNA- this looks like their lead product at present, given that UoA tests dna vaccines Questions for Nigel: 1)Did they test rna delivery? If so what were the immune response results? Can the same version of nuvec be used or will they need to develop a new one? Will this be done by N4p or by UQ 2) did they HPV pDNA as per the original Innovate UK grant application. If so what were the results or are they confidential? 3) do they have an ongoing formal collaboration with medimmune, with a scheduled meeting(s) or updates or has this ended?

Is IKA announcing contracts with other foreign companies/suppliers prior to, or soon after the opening? Presumably they also have to undertake the preparatory trials of operation with volunteers etc that muscat airport performed

If Salam terminal opens without WSG in place- does that mean the Iran deal is off, or at least in jeopardy? A countdown as per the muscat opening would be disconcerting

They have made 17grammes of nuvec to date, some shipped to EU NCl and some to UoA The first phase of UoA will test satisfactory loading of cytolytic pDNA- as much a test of the upscale in manufacture to date, as of efficacy If positive we will get info on what antigens and animal models they wish to test in phase 2

It would would be nice if we got feedback from the bionow oncology presentation Sometimes they will have a video of the talk and they usually have a PowerPoint presentation which they can share online At the upcoming rna therapeutics conference or other conferences eg bionow Europe due in March 19 they may be presenting a poster

That’s a bit harsh re medimmune We Did not achieve upfront payments/ milestones- that requires an identified product and can take years of prior research. It needs N4p to be able to manufacture at scale As a number of posters agreed we would be more likely to get an extension of the current collaboration. I was disappointed because I thought medi had pulled out but that is not the case according to Allenby Allenby confirm that we are still in a non-exclusive collaboration with medi and the top point on their list for news flow for 2019 is clarification on where this will go next With strarpharma the collaboration was open ended starting 2012 with an update in 2014 indicating multiple products to be investigated. In 2015 they announced a deal with £2m upfront and up to £450m depending on multiple products We would benefit from an rns directly addressing the medi collaboration rather than an indirect reference in the placing rns I thought the broker note was positive and fairly comprehensive. It missed out detail on current human trials of MSNs and associated efficacy data. Also prospect of new pAtents with UQ and new products/indications with UoA. I agree with featherby that we live or die on results and so the UoA results are important. The results graph for immune response were good (stat significant superiority vs pei)

glebewhite- Allenby suggest we remain in a non exclusive collaboration with medimmune with further news flow on this in 2019. I agree no surprise They worked with star Pharma on this basis 2012-2015, at which time they identified a product but did not make it public knowledge until 2018.

But charty what was the point Nigel exagerrating medimmune’s intentions The truth has come out within a short period and there has been unnecessary SP volatility- maybe he likes rollercoasters My impression is that Nigel is a competent businessman but he is easily out of his depth with the science - he can get carried away unless he has knowledgeable people around him. I may be wrong- it’s my impression watching his two presentation videos keep the faith

Do you think Nigel exagerrated the nov 18 rns so that he could launch the placing at a higher price? It was only a few weeks ago- he could have said they are waiting a definite discussion with medimmune Alternatively a more positive view could be that he has sold a vision of the company to the placees which predicts a future higher SP- we are hardly over valued at 8-9m mcap and no debt
