I agree that medi deal is key and expect it to happen for a number of reasons inc the length of current collaboration, the medi commitment to develop a non lipid and non viral nanoparticle, their collaboration with a similar ultra small msn which has synergies with ours and which paid for the use 15 million lab In 2015 and all subsequent development costs, the positive results of nuvec to date with superiority vs an industry standard polymer, inherent Advantages of msns versus npls, the patent for spikes etc etc
The challenges are that despite positive pre clinical data MSN’s are early in clinical translation- only c dots have been trialled in humans- but there has been a big increase in research papers and reviews in the last year so that will change hopefully and silica has been given GRAS (generally regarded as safe) status by fda. The c dots were safe in 2014 trial and results are due out on humans on 2 more trials this year I think. C dots and nuvec both have unique selling points
Given the above, I agree the medi deal is key and will mean a much higher share price.
