I always thought that Geoenergo / Petrol / INA would eventually carve (in part thanks to caver!) this up between them .
Enter CAD - again - and things might , and I mean might just , get a bit more interesting .

Perhaps there is just a little bit of truth behind this part :

"Lets issue an RNS for a rights issue at a supposed 14% benefit to the shareholders.
The price falls to 1p (or less) so very few/no-one takes it up~~~"

I am sure that DW would have realised that the SP would drift toward the 1p rights price , it was hardly a big discount in a Company currently somewhat out of favour .
I`m wondering if this might present some third party , perhaps the elusive farmee , or an operator in that region to acquire a stake in the business ?
Surely there would be no way anyone could accumulate a c.5% holding without dramatically raising the price .

I agree . My feeling is that this has been traded for weeks on a small %age drop and subsequent rise for a very small %age daily daily gain .
I suppose over this period of time by staking a big enough volume a net gain could have proved to be profitable .
It must be getting a little nerve racking now as potential news may be very close and if you happen to be on the wrong side of a trade , it may then prove to be damaging to their overall gain . Just my thoughts .

* What is the nature of your work ?
* Who do you work for ?
* Are you fluent in any language other than English ?
* Do you have professional financial qualifications ?
* Do you have professional qualifications in the O&G industry ?
* Do you have interests in any other O&G Company ?
* Do you have interests in any other Companies ?
* Have you ever had any personal connections with Hendersons ?
* Have you ever had any direct contact with INA or Geonegro ?
* Have you ever met or had personal contact with CC or CH ?
* Do you have any direct or indirect political foreign contacts outside the UK ?
* What is the basis for your passionate interest in AST ?
* Do you hold shares in AST or hold a short position ?
* Are your postings based on fact , self interest or a commitment to serve the best interests of the investing public ?

If you would be kind enough to answer at least some of these questions we will all be much clearer about your objectives and the integrity of your contribution .
If you can`t , there will remain a suspicion that perhaps you are not acting in the best interests of private investors who do have a financial interest in the success of this business .

There can`t be many PI`s who are in profit here , or even likely to be should there be a t/o at anything less than c.2p .
This has been a disastrous investment , run by inept self interested bean counters who have no knowledge about operating an O&G Company , let alone dealing with Political bureaucracy in Eastern Europe .
Hubris , ego and greed another issue here .
Next week can`t come soon enough , even if it`s just 2p .

No significant change ~~~~~ BUT ~~~~~ I am totally confident that we will switch on one of these mornings and the sp WILL be significantly higher !
20% + for starters and as further news is released , realisation of the potential here spreads , I think we will see a rapid progression to a still very undervalued 1p +.
