Close to the truth JH . I imagine it`s going to take a few days after the new shares are admitted to AIM (hopefully not weeks) for the dust to settle and some understandable equilibrium between buys and sells begins to emerge .The trigger for advancement surely has to be the `expected prior to 2018 year end ` farm out .
I`m watching from the sidelines to judge the optimum moment to average down , I`ll probably get it wrong !
I imagine that I`m not the only PI to be frustrated at the last six months of flatlining and really hope that 2019 will see a dramatic change in our fortunes .

I wouldn`t worry !
Frustrating and disappointing I understand , but it just means that the future rise will be all that more dramatic as real value always wins in the end .
I`m relaxed about current mkt cap which will certainly improve when we do get T2 and selfishly I`m pleased that we haven`t moved out of the bargain basement as I will be buying more next week !

20th/21st , when the new shares hit the market I suspect there will be a better indication of where the sp
is going short term .
Long term ~~~~~~ It`s got to be North . (I hope !)

trying to differentiate between buys and sells , in my experience it is rarely clear cut .
What is more significant is the sp and the volume . Today higher volume , lower price ,
nobody likes that .
I`m still really confident about future prospects and planning to increase my holding here
but , I don`t like this continuous pressure on the sp so my finger will hover above the buy button
until I can see signs of some turn in support of the stock . I am very surprised that we have fallen this far .
but , have learned through bitter experience that however bullish you may be about any Company on AIM ,
never rule out the unpalatable or even the unthinkable .
AIM is the market where growth Companies raise funds to develop their business strategy
(and sadly ruthless individuals take advantage of private investors .)
Hoping for some serious direction from AP really soon .

Nothing fundamentally wrong with Vast which has been drifting in line with the wider markets . Base metals have also been impacted by Trump`s daft tariff wars , BUT , these things are cyclical and the current pressures will inevitably reverse .
The strong dollar and falling equities look as though they will not enable metals to reverse higher just yet . However, this must be close to the floor . The Chinese government is taking steps to support equity markets . Investors will return to base metals which have fallen to critically low levels and to currently undervalued emerging markets . The stage is set for a dramatic rally in base metals in the months ahead which will surely bring the potential of Baita and Zagra back into focus . I think T2 will be the trigger and have every confidence this will be released in the coming weeks .
In the mean time we may drift a bit further , but , I`m totally relaxed about the future here and confident that in 2019 we
will see a huge change in fortunes for Vast .
Zimbabwe ? ~~~ As someone said that`s a cherry on the cake , but I`ve always been focused on Romania , and I`m very impressed by the performance of AP .

I never bought into Vast for diamonds . Zimbabwe was then a wild card and at that point I doubt many could foresee any real prospect of regaining control of our previous assets in that Country . It seems all that maybe changing but I suspect any change in market cap needs to be associated with evidence of revenue generation and that applies equally and possibly more importantly to Romania .
I had never heard of the term `Bulk Sampling` before , a very misleading description . I would have thought `Bulk Sampling` more accurately described the Diavik Diamond mine .
It would be interesting to see what would come out of a hole that size in the Marange fields !
Looking forward to hearing what AP has to say on his return .

Good points HH . It`s been a very boring three months or so here , but I sense that something might have disturbed the sleeping giant . Clearly there is a very specific reason for this raise , I think they probably needed to strengthen their cash position ahead of some farm out agreement . I didn`t take up the rights but I`m buying more now because I`m more convinced that the farm out will likely be completed ahead of the stated timelines , but most certainly nailed on prior to the year end .
That recently elusive scent of excitement is now most definitely in the air :)

A lot of people here with short term horizons . I took a few more today and for purely selfish reasons I will be happy to see this price hold until 21st when I will have a bigger bite .
Totally relaxed and expect next year to see many expectations and promises fulfilled :)

Fwiw, I know these issues have all been discussed , but I suspect a number of issues forced AP`s hand to raise at 53p .
Not least the delay in T2 , and the ongoing requirement for working capital as we wait for assets to generate revenue .
There was a lot of moaning that ordinary PI`s were not offered the opportunity to participate in the raise , well , now`s your chance to buy as many as you want BELOW the raise price .
Unfortunately the need to raise funds at this point in time was probably negatively impacted by Global issues and the subsequent turn down and general volatility in the markets .
If there was an issue with T2 I think AP would have had to tell the market , this delay is most probably administration/legal related but , now that we have the license I would not be at all surprised to see Mercuria up their interest in Vast .

this drifted back to 40p , my only concern would be finding more cash to buy more shares !
This is like the old January Sales , prices keep getting slashed until there`s nothing left .
When the new stock arrives in February it`s +75% !
I doubt we`ll have to wait `till February to see prices of 1p+ :)))

I would rather hear that the 50m had been spent on tracking down the trash who trash the company , and that they had been given a good trashing behind the bike shed )
