JAdam “the gall” pmsl. What exactly has the company done wrong? As opposed to the major shareholders with their personal holdings, over which the company has no control. You are confusing the company as an operating entity with it’s shareholders. Does every day trader here inform the company of their changing shareholding? Of course not.

Adzy, if there is further dirt, and the company knows about it, they are obligated to inform the market. I appreciate that some Aim companies try to keep bad news under wraps, but a FTSE100? I think not. All the dirt that has come out relates to the major shareholders using their stock as collateral, and the sp fall has been driven by margin calls being sold out immediately, whatever the price.

I regard this as good news. And I don’t think Shetty is about to sell his remaining holding.

It’s way too late for Shetty and the Bin Buttis. They’ve had their asses ripped out, all these forced sales. No wonder the sp is depressed what with creditors selling millions and not caring what price they get. But this will end, they’ll probably have to leave the company (good) and a more reasonable valuation can come. Sure they’ve got debt, but almost every big company has. The book builds at £12 and £12.50 should represent a solid discounted base. May take a few months to get back to sanity though. In the meantime, sit back grab the popcorn and enjoy watching some multimillionaires getting a new one torn.

The RNS on 10 Feb said “ The Board has asked Dr. B. R. Shetty and Mr Khaleefa Butti Omair Yousif Ahmed Al Muhairi to absent themselves from further Board discussions until clarification of these matters and pending a board decision about their ongoing roles as directors of the Company.”

I’m guessing Khaleefa has been pledging Shetty’s shares as collateral, and now he’s been caught. But none of this has anything to do with the underlying company NMC. Ok, I know the thinking that suggests if this bunch are bent the rot must run through the whole company, but this is what is shaking out of the Freeh investigation, and the only aspect that MW have tweeted about since their original report.

A significant Board reshuffle is required. At the least.

I dreamt that dbno gave an honest assessment of a share’s prospects instead of incessantly talking his own book. When I woke up I immediately realised how preposterous that was.

Surely we’ll see some of these next week, and get a better feel for what’s going on. There have been some big after hours trades reported most/all days this week. I still think the market is trying to force margin calls on the major shareholders. It is very tempting to keep doubling down here, although I have strenuously avoided doing so as yet.

I think whoever is most in control of the algos buying and selling here is testing whether they can force a margin call on Shetty. Or maybe even further margin calls on Khaleefa and Saeed’s holdings. As they just sold at £12, they could now buy back at£9 though (ok I know they cleared their debts, but you know what I mean). There are still very high numbers of algo trades, with relatively small volume of shares, driving the volatility.

And yet the volume is less than 1.5% of the company. Pretty low volume yesterday too I think. Although very many small trades. Looking completely irrational now.

Stay calm dogger. You’ve still got health and family. Try to treat it as a learning experience. If you’ve got any left, and the desire, you can trade your way back. I’ve nearly wiped out several times, and clawed my way back. I honestly believe every serious trader has had a very unpleasant experience somewhere along the way.

I got a bag out of ALGW mookster. A couple of years ago. They haven’t made any progress since then towards actually making money.
