Lol, couldn’t make that up. A more tolerant world where everyone MUST agree with me. The left still haven’t grasped that the way to tackle populism is not to deliberately make themselves so very unpopular with the vast majority of the population.

This was way oversold. And the RNS last week as well as OPEC sparked the rise. But this is starting to look as if some news is incoming. They’ve cleared the decks of bad news for an incoming CEO. Maybe they’re lining up some good news for them to announce quickly.

I understand what you are saying about the Wuhan pollution dbno but the reality is, unless our current civilisation collapses, this is only going to be a few weeks respite for the planet before China is back to normal, polluting away, and building an extra coal fired power station every two or three days. You can double that with India. So human induced atmospheric CO2 is going to continue to increase, whatever we do. That is a simple fact. Luckily the IPPC don’t predict catastrophe or anything like that. The people who do are hysterics like Greta, XR, and the Beeb. We need to prepare to adapt to whatever changes may come, and the best way to do that is to be as wealthy as possible, so we can afford it. Ruining our economy to make futile gestures that will have zero impact on whatever changes may be coming is the precise opposite of what we should be doing.

Greta does not have to pay bills and tax. Yet. When she, and the other child protestors do, they will find that their priorities start to align with the real world. That is why they do not have the vote at their age. There is no democratic mandate to impoverish ourselves to make a futile gesture, and politicians are making another mistake by acting as if there is. When I was a kid, we were all going to die in a nuclear holocaust. Or an ice age. This is just another extraordinary popular delusion driving the madness of crowds.

We don’t have to really start cacking ourselves while they’ve still got a nomad. If the nomad resigns though - and it does look like NMC have been breaching reporting requirements - that’s the time to start bricking it.

Yes I agree with Jinny, this is catastrophically bad. I never thought Freeh would sacrifice their integrity to go along with a cover up, so I stupidly thought they would not have been appointed if there was any wrong doing.

Where the heck is the Freeh report? Results due a week tomorrow.
