Low budget airline Jet2 (JET2.L) and Jet2holidays announced on Friday that because of the government’s lack of clarity on Britain's return to travel, it has extended its flight and holiday suspension to 23 June.
"Because of the continued uncertainty that the framework provides, it is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights and holidays up to and including 23rd June 2021, " the company said.
Jet2 said that it will "cancel the bookings and offer full refunds" to customers who are affected by any of the changes.

India has placed a temporary hold on all exports of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, foreign ministry sources have told the BBC.
They said rising cases meant domestic demand was expected to pick up in the coming weeks, and so the doses were needed for India's own rollout.
The move - described as a "temporary squeeze" by officials - is expected to affect supplies until the end of April.

Pmoran1969 - Great to see some good posters amongst all the chaff on this BB. You make some very good points. BOO's efforts in sorting out their suppliers and embracing sustainability will be rewarded with more institutional investment which will negate the volatility and wild movements caused by day traders. The additional bargain buys of Warehouse, Oasis, Debenhams, Arcadia, etc. will start showing through and attract a new demographic. The closure of so much retail (like John Lewis yesterday) and people's changing habits means that online sales will be rising for a long time. SP will head to new highs this year or next - just a matter of patience.

streets36 - how is it being shorted when five recent resistance levels have been blown out the water? You do talk rubbish and seem to have an agenda against BOO for some reason. This is heading back to 400p no trouble. Lots of purchases are now adding to the profits. Post May results we will see a much higher SP.

Good company. Trading update today was very positive. "strong progress against all its key strategic objectives" and "I am delighted at how well the Group has started the new year."

Of course there will be profit taking along the way but MER is seriously undervalued and markets will soon want a slice of the action. All looking good for future returns. Maybe hit 300p by Y/E.
