The ITV show averaged 11.3M from 9PM, peaking with 12.3M, according to overnight BARB figures supplied by overnights.tv.
That makes it the biggest TV show of the year in Britain outside of news, beating the final of The Masked Singer, which was watched by 8.6M last month. Good business !

I thought the results were encouraging considering the pandemic year we've had. The SP is always forward looking and the future looks bright : "The macro outlook remains uncertain but as of today we are seeing an improvement in advertising market trends with TAR expected to be up around 8% in March, and expected to be up between 60% and 75% in April, and the majority of programmes are now back in production"

Good work done on getting production back, slashing debt and cost savings. Outlook with The Euros , Love Island and Masked Dancer this summer, more original content on BritBox and World Cup next year with England having a great team ... I expect a good future ahead for ITV.

Just goes to show a budget airline can't survive if the tickets are no longer budget prices. Bad news for Ryanair and their 1Bn a quarter cash burn problems.

It costs 100M to make each episode of 'The Crown' so getting the real thing for 1M seems like good business to me. They'll make a huge profit on the advertising. Hopefully there will be a phone-in competition to raise a few more £££.

Also, SAGE is not publishing the data to be peer reviewed so we don't know how effective vaccines are against new variants. You were in denial a year ago when I warned about Covid - shall I remind you what you said?

Anyone would think listening to Boris and the rampers on here that Covid had gone away - we've seen the light at the end of the tunnel, RYA going to 20€. Well, six new cases of Brazil variant found today. That means loads more not found. Using my own eyes - the kids and young families have totally given up on social distancing. Bad news for teachers. Bad news for Covid. It was a big mistake Boris announcing "back to normal" dates out to June as many people read that a green light to go back to normal right now. On the news it states 1 in 5 regions in UK have recorded a rise in cases this week. How - when we're in a lockdown? Well, because people don't follow the rules that's how. As for RYA and other airlines, forget summer holidays abroad. While our airports are open to most countries there will be risks of new highly efficient variants coming in on a daily basis that will render our vaccine programme totally irrelevant.
