With 22, 868 new infections recorded today and God knows how many more who have Covid but no symptoms I am not surprised to see SP slump 4% today. With Portugal and Malta now forcing quarantine, Spain due to announce it this week and Germany trying to get all EU countries to ban all UK arrivals, this summer is going to be disastrous for Ryanair. Meanwhile, Uncle Mikey thinks it's a good idea to increase capacity on Malta and Balearics flights. I am amazed anyone is still holding at these prices when SP is sure to plummet further.

This "is" the dip, if you look at the history. Going to break out soon back to £12 plus, but it needs patience. All their rooms and venues will be fully booked out this summer and with staycations the pubs will be heaving. I even tried booking well in advance last half term and they were fully booked for rooms and meals everywhere. Also they own 92% of their freehold which is a good hedge against bad times. At some stage this will feed into the numbers and the SP.

If I order a new car and the garage cancel it I would expect a refund pretty quickly without having to jump through a load of hoops. I would not expect a voucher or a promise of a car next year. So , YES, the SOLE REASON for me being entitled to a refund would be the company I ordered through cancelling my order. As to the rest of your drivel, I've no idea what you're on about.

MKS post loss, no divvi and further stores closures yet SP up about 5%. MKS to "permanently move out of about 30 locations, and a further 110 large stores would become food-only". This will direct even more sales to Debenhams online (aka BOO) as grannies and grandads get their knickers and socks from BOOHOO. High Street really is dead. I'm on a 10% rise on BOO since 2 weeks ago (results!) but expecting an easy 30% more.

Modicum, I eventually (after jumping through many hoops) got the refund for my clients. It was amazing how long it took considering Ryanair had cancelled my flight. Many customers took vouchers last year and simply re-booked flights for 2021 instead of 2020. Unfortunately lots of them are being forced to take these flights (or lose their money) this year to Amber countries even though they would rather have a refund or re-book for a later/safer time. I guess Ryanair are not worried about return custom or bringing back a new variant from abroad.

So sorry about EU the plans to tax jet fuel. I expect UK will follow suit. It couldn't happen to a nicer CEO. With the climate change COP conference this November in Glasgow many countries will be looking to make their contribution towards carbon zero policies and taxing jet fuel is an obvious and welcome step. This will make flights more expensive as airlines pass on the costs. Add this to the extra expense and hassle of three tests per person plus quarantine then I can't see this summer being very successful. I can also see governments forcing airlines to refund bookings. Once all this factored in, SP could easily revert to last year's low of 8.13€.

Ryanair like to cut costs in all areas wherever possible, as is well known. I have always thought safety/terrorism might one day become an issue. This was a flight from one EU country to another EU country. Ryanair have chosen to route their flight over a rogue nation's airspace. There were women and babies on that flight and two free people have been taken by a violently oppressive regime. Maybe some will sue. Who knows? Ryanair said there were some KGB agents on the flight !!! Stricter regulation is needed and Ryanair's processes need to be properly investigated. The EU should start by banning all flights in out and over Belarussia.

Ryanair is a budget airline. After this I suspect some major investors might pull out. Also suspect some customers will think twice about who they fly with.
