A meeting with Align does not justify a RNS, LOL. The wait has not been 5 or 7 years but 7 months since VAL were in a position to commercialise its first compound which ia due soon. The years previously were R’n’D, so unforunately many arrived far too early and seas money in the run up to now.

RiskReep, 30p certainly possible on 401 news (201 soon too) and hopefully sooner rather than later!

Quite nice for a change, no bullshxx. Sit and enjoy the weather, world cup or whatever takes your fancy, but let VAL BoD close their 401 deal with a major pharma uninterrupted and then +25p here we come!

Hi Valju - that’s fair enough and point taken. Questions: not to you directly Valju, but others..... 1. what do you think the average salary of a full time director of a small quoted company is? 2. How long do you think it takes from drug inception to commercialisation. 3. Do you think VAL’s corporate brokers completely mis-valued the company when it IPO’d? 4. Do you think you sjould have invested when the product line was more advanced? 5. As the last years have been R’n’D and test focussed and no income flow, apart from international fund raise (and note the costs are significantly cheaper than the +£250k of a rights), where were they supposed to get their money from? 6. Finally, if we were to pay the VAL team peanuts, don’t you think we would have a company brain drain and we might not have the progress we have had in the last 7 months?

ValJu Quite simply it appears you are completely dissatisifed with VAL or deramping. If deramping it is very transparent. If disattisfied either sell your holding and move on or if you paid far too high from bad timing, then get a share certificate issued and put it in the bottom drawer and look again at VAL in 12 months time when 401 and 201 are in JV. This BB is trying to keep upbeat on what is a very exciting time for the companyand don’t get me wrong, the negatives and positives are welcome but not constant depressing Victor Meldrew’itis.

Geecee3, I agree. Align sort of shot themselves in the foot...... went in with all guns blazing, heard what they wanted hear and then shackled because they know perhaps what is coming and timing but can’t cascade the info to the public. Actually very positive IMHO!

Viera, yes! I am sure Align have price sensitive info they can’t disclose and are probably grinning from cheek to cheek. We can read betwen the lines that they must know somtjing big is brewing from their ambiguous wink wink comment after the meeting on Friday that 401 JV proceedings are closeand big!
