We would need a JV deal +$100 mn for 401 to achieve 20p which is not impossible considering some of the recent JV deals doing the rounds in the media.

As you say jjp, much to look forward to in terms of price enhancing news in 401 jv and 201 jv to follow. I would hope to be over +20p by the New Year and will keep adding whilst we are at this juncture which is an incredible entry point opportunity and where many will look back to this time and wonder why people didn’t add to their holding or average down if bought higher. The key is that the compounds work and patented so for a small bio, a unique opportunity which is massively derisked.

Tozerk, to be quite honest, if you think this is going to happen everytime (placing) and the SP is never going to go anywhere, why not just sell up now - seems a pointless investment if this is your perspective on VAL. As roses says, a company with no cash flow has no option but to raise money somehow. Now they are at a commercialisation point which is what we have all been waiting for, to finance 401 in CT III with a return on capital invested to date. Surley this is why we are here and the BOD strategy..... get to CT II and then sell / JV, rinse and repeat with 201, 101 and 301.

Mer - ditto! Yes, the facility for headroom was explained by George that they want to be in a position of strength with negotiations. I agree that 2018 could be a cracking year for VAL and with the right newsfliw could trigger SP growth exponentially.

What placing? Nothing has been planned and GM in his recent interview said their cash position was good. Is this just scaremongery to get the price down which won’t work as we saw in the vote on the increase in headroom as pi’s only make up a small %. Therefore any deramping (or ramping for that matter) is futile here or any other BB.

Willy, even if it was 20% spread, it makes no difference in the bigger of scheme of things when we get to a double digit share price. GLA

Woody, I think that is a tongue in cheek remark. Obviously no deal is worse than a bad deal to get on track with CTlll, but with the technology VAL have I suspect we should have a good deal and SP acceleration!
