Apple, I used up last year's allowance then had another £110K across my portfolio so this year have to make the decision what to move across because I don't want to increase my overall exposure anymore. Am actually reducing my exposure because of the uncertainty politically which is already affecting markets compared to last year. Am down to 5 equities. Not selling VAL until she blows and blows again. Will probably sell something else to increase my VAL shares if anything. Did you get into Koovs in the end? You must have done well today if you did.

Exactly! I'm desperate to get all my VAL shares into this year's ISA but Halifax share builders make you sell and buy again rather than transfer the shares across for a fee, as I was advised you can do yesterday on this board. Sigh. The spread's so big I'm going to lose 10% unless I sell and stay out for a couple of days on the expectation that Trump's trade wars will carry on hurting the market for a couple of days. I wish this investment business was a bit easier sometimes! I would really like to have a multi-bagger in an account with no tax to pay.

After results of it's second stage trial for influenza. They have recently acquired a partner so up from a much lower base in the first place. This will be us when we get some substantial news.

I wrote to the Department of Health today to ask who are the beneficiaries of the government's £75million research fund for prostate cancer which was announced on April 10th this year. I should get a reply within 3 days. I'll share it when I hear back.

Will be volatile until next week IMHO. I will move my holding to my ISA account if it dips and then top up to the full allowance. Excited about this share. I think the real movement will start more positively at the end of June, early July since the RNS tells us to expect the 401 full trial report next month. Bigger investors don't bother coming in until they think news is about to come- it's an opportunity cost otherwise I suppose. If we get a partner for a jv we'll see institution's/big funds investing here.

I agree they will buy back. The smart thing to do would be to start sooner rather than later.

Why bother seeking authority if they don't intend to use it?

Do we think Boo will actually set up regular buy backs from Friday, assuming the resolution is agreed at the AGM? I'm also in Siemens- they have set up regular buy backs and it has had a definite impact as you would expect. I think we're having trouble getting over 212 now because of traders but a sudden lift in the volume will change that in one day. This is also the second short reduction from CPP in a week. Wouldn't be surprised if they keep closing this week.

What does half in and half out mean? Are you invested?

for prostate cancer research in mid April (£75 million). We've got to be due a decision about funding allocation in the next few weeks surely? Val 201 is an absolute standout contender for some of this funding for next stage trials. There's a massive recruitment campaign -for up to 40,000 men- going on now for patients suffering with the disease to take part in trials. But the VAL 401 RNS for small cell lung cancer will be the real game changer and with July in mind for the next update on this with a view to a partnership agreement to progress to pre-market trials investors in this share will be well rewarded. Not that I want to wish the Summer away or anything!
