It isn't about shaking hands is it? It can take months to secure a deal from preliminary assessments. Buyers have to scrutinise the opportunity from a number of perspectives. Patience mate.

Yes- I think their techniques are so expensive because they're more invasive and time consuming for patients and doctors. OXB are in this field too- massively expensive and maybe always will be- you can't exactly mass produce and it's a difficult process. They take cells from the patient and assess their specific immunity- extracting cells, re-formulating them and re-inserting them with additional stimulus to immune cells- highly individualised. Amazing though hey? I think VAL has a higher response rate too so far. VAL won't have to sell at such a high price- one of the great things about their drugs- effective and affordable.

At least Trump's outrageous corporation tax breaks are encouraging big pharma to acquire better R&D capacity- mostly by buying up small innovative companies working in the relatively new field of immunotherapy by the looks of things. Everyone is talking about this field of transformative medicine and the pressure is on here. See the new study by the IFS, Kings Fund and others on the NHS. We are way behind most developed countries in preventing deaths from cancer- covered in the Guardian today (though we're obviously the best at offering affordable health care).

Thanks Avery B. I don't see why this would prejudice the case. This should be public information anyway. If Tertiary know this they should advise shareholders. Why we're expected to invest blind I don't know.

Uncanny, I called HSB yesterday. They said the broker will try to negotiate the best buy back they can and they will probably do better than me but no guarantees. I'll call the broker directly. Thanks for the advice mate.
