Looks like a bit of an overreaction to me? We have broken even at last with all of the momentum in the second half of the year and five new contract wins reported this month- after the trading period to end of 2019, worth an additional £750K which means we are profitable now.

Has anyone else noticed we've been revalued by more than 25% in the last week? Market cap up to £10.25 from £8m.

I tried to buy through the same account. It's because of a regulation called PRUPP or PRIPP. It's about transparency. RBD haven't filled in a form. Probably because they won't comply with it- to do with transparency in trading. It has put me off buying RBD because obviously a lot of people won't be able to buy when the news comes in.

Anyway, enough from me. I'll let you know how I get on with the complaint.

Valju- I've sold now. In my experience it's very rare for a crook to fess up. The fact that they can engage in this kind of behaviour means they are not like thee and me. Read every RNS for the last year or so and look at the share price. The story is there for all to see.

Beaufort- yes they were our brokers too over the time I've been invested here. We sacked them after the corruption was publicly revealed and the FCA raided their offices.

AGM- Valju- no, sold this morning when it seemed clear that we won't find out about Friday's big buys. Which I strongly suspect could be yet another con! Those buys represented well over the reporting threshold for investors. Three days later- nothing. Writing to the FCA. That's the only way we'll get answers. The FCA took action against Beaufort and they're taking action against Southern Water right now. They can't get away with it.
We won't get answers at the AGM. If they can do what they have obviously done you don't think they'll have the brass neck to brazen it out?

They are scientists. Of course they can count. They've entered into these mad deals because either they haven't got any interest from any serious players to forward the trials whatsoever and they feel desperate or because they are in on the EHGO penalty clause themselves. Arguably the idea that you give yourself a massive bonus when your company is in trouble suggests that personal gain was in the mix anyway- at our expense obviously.
It could be just that they feel desperate to progress their work and are hoping it will all turn out right one day- but it is still gross negligence isn't it? If you know you have no future and just scrabble around from one month to the next at the expense of the shareholders with no regard for them whatsoever?

I don't think it will be just one person Valju. I think it will be most of them all those with board level responsibility for agreeing a package- at the end of the day the whole board have some responsibility to make decisions that consider shareholder interests in a serious way. If they knew they don't have the finances to fund the trials at a certain point they should come clean and tell us. It means our investment is done but it means they aren't continuing to take money from new investors or from us. The decisions they have made haven't given us a chance to recover a reasonable level of our funds. There have been times when they've said that additional shares are there to support their bargaining strength and then we find out that they've already sold them when we get the RNS and the broker has already been dumping shares. It is a bit of an illustration of the psychology of investment- hope over reality and believing what we're told rather than what our eyes can see- the falling sp! But it is known as 'market abuse' so let's see what the FCA have to say.

Yes they did HardtoHandle. They said they were talking to 'big pharma' about 401- which was why I bought in 18 months ago. They mentioned the same today- but without the same conviction. They have previously said they were 'in talks' with big pharma. Then they announced they were talking specifically to two companies in the US and China- unnamed. Which was when I started to get a few doubts- why wouldn't you name them? Then they said they will fund phase 3 trials themselves. Then they announced that EHGO would fund the phase 3 trial. Then they pulled out of the EHGO deal after the sp had already crashed again due to EHGO selling as soon as they received their shares. Half the time they were forward selling so you don't even have time to sell before the sp reaches another new low and you realise what has happened.
Part of my very misguided loyalty has been that I found it too hard to believe that a company involved with seeking treatment for cancer would do anything like this. If it was a miner or something I'd have been out ages ago.

I thought the compensation was for Beaufort shareholders. But by rights it should be all those affected by their activity.

Unlikely to be just one person Valju. The board take decisions like this. So all those who supported the EHGO decision will have known how Pierre Vaninneuse operates because they already had experience of him from Bracknor. He claims to be a real venture capitalist investing in undervalued companies.
And yes as Taverham points out we also had the Beaufort securities scandal. Funny how they keep having the misfortune of getting involved with con artists? I was assuming that it was because they are desperate for funds and genuinely expected better news. When I challenge myself to look at some of the very dodgy RNS' (aside from placings) I am wondering if they all knew the game was up some time ago.
I suppose it's quite audacious really. They could make a film about them. I can't get over all that talk of a 401 deal and then they announce finally it was with EHGO!

You only get told days after he's sold. He might already be out. I held on till today hoping we would be told who were those big buyers from Friday. We haven't been told and we should have by now. It will be some other unexplained mystery! What happened to the deals with one Chinese company and one US? Unnamed! I've been avoiding facing the reality of this because it's so unbelievable that they would scam us like this in broad daylight. Sold today and feel relieved to be honest. Glad I didn't top up over £20K.

Don't buy any more shares. You won't get any joy at the AGM. Pierre Vannineuse used to run Bracknor- our previous broker- also responsible for driving down the share price.

Still waiting to see who bought in on Friday aren't we?

Yeah good advice except when you are being conned. We have plenty of evidence. Who pays themselves a 50k bonus when the company is on it's knees. They get away with it because we keep believing them and we haven't advised the authorities. I am writing to the FCA tonight.

He is the CEO for Alpha Blue Ocean and EHGO and was previously director of Bancroft, Val's former broker. I am guessing they are all on a kick back from the 150k penalty charge for not progressing the agreement. Who agrees a penalty charge for not progressing an agreement which is itself subject to shareholder confirmation?!
