Anyone read NCYT's RNS yesterday? It looks like they can't scale up to meet demand partly due to manufacturing capacity and partly because of a shortage of reagents and other raw materials. That's the big advantage that AVCT has with the big pharma partnership set up alongside the final development of the tests. Let's hope they can hit the ground running. I think this will be the market leader- best in class for accurate, accessible mass coverage for tests. This is how we will secure a longterm end to lockdown worldwide and back to work we go.

The Ceph test takes 45 minutes. This one should take 10 minutes and will be distributed to a mass market. There's already multiple tests but eventually the best will dominate as the standard expected and probably formally required you'd think surely. We won't have long to find out ??

This firm are gearing up for a mass testing capacity that Ncyt won't match with their 2 hour tests that need to be processed in a lab they will become obsolete as soon as Avacta is ready to distribute. This looks like the product that we need to end lockdown worldwide. You can do daily testing in a few minutes. Back to life!

This is not a crowded industry. The competition will also be just as busy. Fundraise or not this is a very good buy at these prices it will multi-day. You are banking on the company going under. Not impossible. I don't think it will happen.

Kenj, you are making an argument to get out of any shares. People who are invested at this level are assuming that the market will recover where firms have survived. Most people who were in at £2 will have sold by now. You aren't going to get in any lower than this.

Absolutely Bunsenburner this is a cracking buy. Economists are predicting that unemployment will reach 6 million this quarter. Some posters are banging on about the RI and completely missing the point. This is a company that will survive this pandemic and thrive thereafter. It has the money and the credibility to survive and it is entirely well placed to be a key player in getting us all back to work with important transport solutions. 4.2 billion pounds of forward sales!

Kenj, they have stopped work on some 'non essential ' projects because of the cv19 isolation strategy. Pure speculation that they (government) would cancel longterm. You don't seem to be appreciating the gravity of the situation we are in. They will have to take major steps to stimulate growth. They are extremely likely to follow through with their proposals in the budget. They will be under pressure to move away from fossil fuels and encourage investment in green industries. Costain are also well placed for carbon capture projects.
