Claiming a partnership for a test provider (not really explaining what stage of development the 'partner' is at either) is like a conference centre claiming 'partnership ' with the products made by the various firms whom they host. Another unicorn. Punters will get hurt.

What is ORPH doing in the partnership? It looks like they are offering the trial facility. Why should they gain any IP for that role? 'Partnership ' should maybe be 'supplier's.

If ODX have already started to prepare for lift off by moving into a huge new site then they are confident it's in the bag. If they are saying they can go large by the end of May then they must be counting on all the remaining and substantive approvals very soon.

Johnson told parliament today that he wants 200000 tests at the end of May. He wants to achieve that target. He wants us out of lockdown. Oh yes. Shorter, your name kind of gives the game away. The cv19 shares are all on the cusp of a massive breakthrough- NCYT has already done it. They were penny shares because they didn't have anything except some clever people working on clinical trials which have traditionally taken years. Now they are not because they have a life changing product to end a world pandemic- not a flu- muppet. We are now in after that crucial credibility has been confirmed. Value will increase exponentially with orders and worldwide sales as soon as the regulatory process allows. This company is a classic candidate for a takeover in the future. If that happens value will increase substantially from a new much higher base again. This is about being in any company which moves from an entrepreneurial stage to a critical market player- classic disruptor. Disruptors change the rules. If you haven't noticed rules are changing. Governments are investing in r&d massively and directly. Big pharma is forming partnerships with tiny bio pharma where the minnows are calling the shots. Do try and keep up.

Merchant banker, I was replying to your previous post on the strategic environment rather than speculating about someone else coming up with another test that's better than ours and what might happen thereafter. That hasn't happened.

FJones40, you are lumping all the cv19 shares together and using words which sound like you think you are in a casino. Some shares which seem to be claiming an association with cv19 may well be as dodgy as dodgy can be!
That's why you have to pay attention and think things through carefully. You haven't done that. A lot of what you say is hard to make sense of actually.

Merchant banker, absolutely! Great post. For anyone that has been paying attention Merchant banker has spelled out in their last post everything that is important about this share. There are lots of antibody tests but none of them are accurate. If they aren't accurate they are useless. Roche's test needs laboratory conditions and quite specific technology.
We have a lab test and a home testing kit coming. The home testing kit is for a mass market.

The Guardian (a quality paper, always well researched unlike the nonsense rag that is the Daily Mail) says that the government are discussing health passports with tech firms who propose to use them in conjunction with antibody tests. A big pilot contact tracing exercise will be rolled out in the coming days. There's a suggestion that we might get a grand unveiling of a whole package of measures to get us easing out of lockdown on Friday- some speculation the review could be moved to Sunday. I wonder whether they are looking to defer the announcement by a few days so that all the critical players have time to position themselves more confidently? Everyone in our team are in the loop. 98% accuracy should work. Within the margin of error ( standard deviation). John Bell said we are nearly there so maybe they are going for 99%. The pill is 99%. Hardly anything has better than that. You would be trialling ad infinitum trying to eliminate every externality ie. every exceptional human response.

We are going to be the story next week with NHS Scotland and PHE approval for the antibody lab tests. We might hit £1.00 on that but we could easily go higher on more confident anticipation of the home test to follow. There's nothing else to invest in except covid19 shares. The market is getting gloomy about unemployment here, in Europe and the US. Firms are going bust or reducing staff. Depression is threatening. We have to get out of this and we are a critical part of the solution. First out of the box. Best in class. Meeting UK and potentially international, mass demand.
