Is just the start. A fantastic start obvs. It shows that this company have learnt from the difficulties that others have ran into with demand exceeding supply. They have prepared for that before increasing expectations with other news. So they will move very fast from approvals to orders agreed.
But the value of this share is bigger than what they can deliver. It's in the product and what the product will do for the world. It will rescue our economies without ignoring the health and wellbeing of millions. We will soon have to upscale production again either through new commercial partnerships or licensing. Absolutely massive!

This is going to be massive. The first antibody test that is accessible (home testing kit), affordable (£10.00 or less), accurate (unlike pharma giants Abbott and Roche's lab tests) and available at scale as an extra bonus. Absolutely massive!

Without a vaccine I will say between £2.00 and £5.00. Lol! There are so many variables. We could be delivering 50million tests a year ourselves or we could be licensing to an approved international network to meet global demand. I do see that as a probable direction of travel. They are both massively innovative and capable. They got ahead of the curve, focused on developing their capacity. Shows they are serious and credible about meeting this challenge.

Bob Seeley, Isle of Wight MP, just been on World at One, Radio 4. He says the current app on trial there is the Beta version. New versions will take on board the learning from the trial. It is his firm understanding that new version/s will be integrated with tests. Looks like we're going to be in the mix for a national strategic approach for population track and testing as many of us are assuming in our investment in ODX. If it helps us to get on our feet in the UK the phrase 'the world is your oyster' has never been more apt! Exciting times.

He's making the argument that many of us have made, that mass testing, for everyone as routine needs to be available through home testing, to enable us to get control, get back to work safely, and protect the vulnerable by ensuring we prevent transmission as much as possible. Watching channel 4 news. The coverage of the day's press briefing has Raab's response to a criticism of test results from labs coming back after 5 days. Problematic for obvious reasons- people not knowing their results are stuck in quarantine or else risk spreading the virus. Raab acknowledged the issue and Sharma says they are sending 'strong messages' to businesses and the scientific community about faster results. They know they've got it in the bag for June 1st imho! I strongly suspect the news is going to start coming in over the next 2 weeks thick and fast.

What other company is Oxford University working with on a poc antibody test? Umm. Oh yeah. None. Just the RTC where ODX is the only public listed company. As has been pointed out, shared with links and information repeatedly. Derampers so obvious.
Benson's leak hasn't had a massive impact because he works for the ONS so it's too subtle for most of the viewing public. We need an RNS. We are early investors. The rest will come when it's crystal clear, spelled out in contracts and headlines.

Jumping into the conversation about vaccines. I noticed Prof John Bell from Oxford (headed for a knighthood surely) was interviewed again on their vaccine development. He said if everything went smoothly it could be Autumn but he couldn't even give odds for 50% with confidence. He said it's never been done in such a short timescale. Usually takes years. Sometimes just can't get one eg. HIV, SARs, Mers ...so I think well, stay alert ;) but maybe don't hold your breath.

I was thinking aloud, wondering why they are hanging onto the approval if they have a finished product they know is good and realising Benton told us why. Scaling up is what they are doing. With all concerned fully in the know, which is how you get a leaky ship. Anyway, looks even more leaky now because it's all over Twitter that there's a buy in for 1.6 million shares. More than £800k. So it could be an institution coming in.
