You are stating the obvious stt1 and making out there will be dire consequences for non-compliance and legislation may change and anything else you can sweep up and posting it as if it was especially noteworthy.
Ad-Tech companies of any calibre, like R1,will be across all eventualities, relating to GDPR etcetera and although implementation may have some costs, they are not likely to be a revenue-impacting deal-breaker.
In fact, the costs of enhanced transparency, offered through GDPR, may be more than offset by increased customer confidence and that goes for the Ad-Tech industry as a whole.
Of course, some smaller outfits will have their knuckles rapped, if they are below-par, in terms of compliance with regulations.
