Yep looks like 10p gone. I sold out 50% loss, live to fight another day. Put my money in SAVP which is dependent on paperwork being signed! Anyways I think pdl will do ok, bit psd off that a director doesn’t know his own business though! I’m thinking there may be a TCG type trading pattern here so I may buy in at 8p and try and average from there. I think that should do ok because long term it’s a recovery play and there could be a bid. Just very difficult to time. Well done to those that have made money here especially on CFD. Been some brave calls and just rewards. Trek diamonds not been a best friend!

Agree with takeover prospects because a new owner could make brutal savings quicker than existing board who have recognised there are leaky taps. That's even before ops value. Trek

Totally agree with sirbob and moveonup in two previous posts. I was looking in in case I had missed something due to sp drop but my experience says it’s mm shenanigans. One of those things you get on SETSqx , manual intervention to keep a lid on the thin market. Look at it this way if the sp was 11p now how would they services buyers if the drill came in at 77% cos as lots of the float would have dried up? One gets lots of NT issues on aim usually following an RNS. They are just in effect introducing a spread over time so sell it now and then they can spike it right up meaning those that sold at 8 can’t get back in sub 10 and the difference is the market makers. Imo it’s just the house hedging their bets and unfortunately the house usually wins. Trek, house!

No I think there is plenty of float by eco standards although the nature of the stock is illiquid relative to the wider market. Trading volumes have been fairly consistent and given Gil has said we have had profit taking as price has come off then the ‘hopper’ should be ok.

Human behaviour, imo, no way is a person with such responsibilities going to leave a full in tray before they go on holiday. Would you. They are going to, as a minimum, clear out all the quick wins especially anything that is related to security or the economy and let the electorate know how busy they have been, safe hands etc, before they go on holiday. Not sure we’re the best ones to ask as being honest I think we have completely interpreted the results differently to the market. You may be better off using trading tools now to time your entry as logic has gone. The one year fib suggested bottom at 15p, wrong! Now the 6 months suggests 10p! Hope that’s wrong as well. Possibly, a flash crash is often used by market makers to take out stops and fill a depleted order book. Remember they can see stop prices. You won’t find this written anywhere as it is my comment from experience. Some refer to it as a bear raid, so as it has a term it implies it happens. Remember ECO is traded on SETSqx so there is appropriate intervention from market makers, more so than on a main market due to liquidity. The TSX trades may have resulted in a thin book, following how bullish it was there for longer.

I note other posters have commented that they had also derisked. Nice to have some balance here.

Unfortunately it’s never that simple, the money made here thus far has been by those in early and sold ahead of spud news. In the Falklands campaign many did better by selling before the drill results and those that just bought and held did not fair so well. Timing is everything. Whilst I do agree with your Hammerhead comment unfortunately the perceived delays play on sentiment, another known unknown in this mine field. GL with all our investments here. Trek

Me to but I made a mistake in going in too much too early, I sold a lump at a loss with a view of letting the rest ride or averaging back in should we miss the first drill. I hope this is just jitters and Jethro comes in but the market is concerned and hammerhead not helping. Tsx now 13% down. I just hope they are not taking their time to put the proverbial lipstick on a pig! We could do with something a little more positive than a wait and see tweet. Surely positive news would be out immediately even if it’s ‘oil shows but detail to follow’. However, I do agree there have been some odd prices amongst explorers recently with a tick down the last few trading days.

Hi I don’t see how a prospective partner could Commission or embark on drilling logistics without agreeing terms with Bpc as that would weaken their hand and Bpc do not have the cash or wherewithal to do it themselves. I guess it is possible but in my view unlikely. The govt have agreed to drilling so they should just get on with it. Political expectations have been set and public expectations should eventually shift to the sovereign wealth fund rather than drill or no drill. Trek ps I hope you are right and we get a leak!

I think if the have a farm in they have to tell shareholders. There is a duty to advise us as it’s so significant. Imagine selling now to later find out there was a deal all along. Whilst they may choose to keep the drill site up their sleeve until the last minute even then there are public and shipping notices that need to be submitted so get off the golf course and earn your grand a day or whatever it is! TLW tends to be used to hedge POO as company is 'disproportionately' leveraged to it so it moves more dramatically based on OP and OP assumptions. I believe that is the overriding factor ATM but it should of course move accordingly with hammerhead results albeit not as much as ECO as it's a smaller part of their overall portfolio. Trek
