News in Aug punt money moving in. They could after 12 months now of revenue from MSL and if they have higher penetration in US come out ebitda neutral in finals. Loss was £450k last update but so many costs were included then. Could be anything from £100k loss to almost positive and with cash still on books market should like the story. If they announce a partner as well then that will be icing on cake and massive rerate. Trouble with aim though it’s a nightmare to work out as the whole market just could be awaiting new partner deal when for Trek I think it’s the ebit number that is key next. We’ll see but imo even if it disappoints the sales are coming through so you just have to wait a bit longer. Trek, good bet this one

Hi Mani01, I don’t know the answer for the disparity but I am not sure there was any gain here unless the tsx sp was quite a bit higher than the placing price after the lock in. As the price is lower then selling the issue shares on tsx will ‘currently’ incur a loss. I don’t know if there was any hedging involved on tsx to preempt this loss by those involved in the placing but if that is the case they just as well hedge on aim to reduce currency costs. Like you I do now hope that both exchanges move the sp up in sync and if it aligns henceforth in anticipation of news I will be amazed at the apparent market ability to self correct. I note similar differences in the SP for TXP on aim and tsx. Not a plug but I’m equally baffled. Trek

Not sure how divi would work out. We own 40% of sbtx so at today’s price that’s 40% of 128m shares = 51200000 sbtx shares. Say 15p each that’s £7680000. Obviously a lot more if at 20p.

But £7.68m shared across opti’s 85m shares in issue after costs won’t go that far. Better off having a lower Opti sp and then catching the market out with a share buy back or even offering Yorkshire seed fund (from memory) an out just before announcing some nice numbers for Opti. Good time to execute that plan imo. Devious Trek!

I agree this looks like a mm driven technical correction. Vols are not atm high, it could be there are some orders being filled which we should see over next couple days. Check volumes below, whilst they have picked up of late they are nowhere near highs. Ironically the price rise will drive volume. Remember my earlier post where I explained the mm can create a spread over time by dropping slowly and then spiking up to price folk out, that looks to be what is happening. They may now have enough stock from earlier profit taking/selling. Just sit tight imo and go with the cos. Bogof drills, by heron get red deer free! Trek all imo.

Oh the power of shorting, sp been hammered because the co opened the door to the shorters. To be fair most of the longs here interpreted the results as is written in this RNS but then the co left too many unknowns in their guidance which opened the door for shorters and even caused institutional selling. Shocking! No doubt we will see a bounce here today but will it be enough? Invesco seem to have made their minds up. Sooner they ban shorting the better imo, if peeps are bearish on a stock sell what you own or use cfd bookmakers rather than short selling. Peeps don’t get that such activity can just be sentiment driven and not facts and cost people their jobs. Trek.

So assuming QP have been in the pipeline a while as they already have a relationship with total. What are the odds that QP had approached ECO prior to the total announcement. I mean ECO, allegedly, suddenly appoint TPH out of the blue at this juncture? TPH are a specialist in the energy field, coorporate finance, acquisitions etc. Imo something spooked Gil into making that call earlier than planned. Surely the ‘previous intention’ would have been to appoint an adviser further into the campaign after we had some results under our belt but if the TPH approach is true it’s a cause and effect argument. My views exactly Mav but add to that these deals take a lot of time they are often complex and not fag packet weekend stuff. QP already had a deal with Total lined up. They just said we’ll only sign when with have a view of these pending results. How else can you price in so quickly? All imo but this has been in the pipeline for a while. Trek

Agree with ECO but also MATD drilling now a 75% cos well, it’s really an appraisal well as producing nearby but also about to spud another well. So two simultaneous drills.

Also TXP, gas play, waiting for rig held up on sidetrack atm, willl befree soon. Well was drilled by shell years ago an has HC’s. Txp are also a producer so drill self funded And they recently raised at 12p. Sp16p atm low MCAP and if well comes in it will be a company maker, really high cos should also be appraisal well. Hardly any posts on bb unlike MATD. Mind boggles!

This could be massive. Deal signed with international o&g customer. Word will get out because of cost savings and environmental footprint.

Hi happysparrow, good find as always. I have had a tour of the press today for clues but nothing yet. I don’t think the Severn energy transaction ministerial consent is dependent on the PIGB but this is now political and it may be that Buhari is pooling some of his in-tray together. On a positive he has also committed to getting the economy going and this deal would help. The PIGB is basically a regulatory framework so in theory it shouldn’t link in with the Severn consent, not for one moment saying you implied that, just posting a view. Just noticed Rrl on the fallers board. Trek had forgotten all about them. Can't believe price I sold at over 9p many years ago then lost a sht load on XEL thinking I was so clever. My thoughts are with fellow PIs here, every one has a life story. It has taken me 5 years of hard slog to recover xel but it can be done. No advice intended but if I gave any it's protect your capitol. Even if it means a loss take something out to keep fighting and you will find those nuggets that we search for. I reckon that’s some well timed buys, may stick around 6.5 for a bit and then next Elliot wave will hopefully take us through 10 possible 12. If it hits twelve that will probably be with news and should be a good profit point to sell and buy back in sub 10 but keep your core holding for the long haul. All imo trader Trek.

Thanks itsyou, I note the spread is really tight atm 82.5 to sell and 82.85 to buy. Never seen it so tight apart from that weird backwardation. I have been picking up a few more here while I can but I am absolutely gobsmacked that there has been no reaction to PSS buys and I have no idea where the recent shares have come from now the early investors and the insti have handed their shares to PSS. It’s seems pretty nailed on that a bid will follow soon as there can’t be much liquidity left.. Trek
