I was just reading some of the rubbish here about director sales and your post re China came in. The obvious rationale explanation. These things get fixed and then this is a buying opportunity. Funny thing is I’ve made 40pts on an HSBA short, up 50% on Byot but didn’t sell my Vrs. I was surprised how much of a hit it’s taken and so will be buying more here as imo it’s way oversold

Good luck all, I was tempted but it’s got too expensive for me now. Underlying fundamentals don’t equate to MCAP and competition from big pharma mean they can scale up quicker. But well done to all you guys that got in sub 50p as it’s a defo hold from there with some cushion from what I think is an inevitable placing. I will be watching from sidelines for any dips but I think I’ve missed this one.

Just read through the RNS’s and looks like this virus and anticipated sales has come at a good time for the co. They have just embarked on restructuring as have had issues with stock shortages and cashflow. I think the ceo has given a very honest account, which is helpful. I would expect them to take advantage of the recent rise in sp and raise so they can improve their supply chain. I am pretty sure ii’s would be queuing for stock and it wouldn’t imo be such a bad thing as it would turn around to cash fairly quickly. Not a ramp or dreamp just an observation and shouldn’t deter an investment here but don’t let it be a surprise.

With the largest upcoming drill net to its interest, Bahamas Petroleum Company (BPC) announced its "Roadmap to Drilling" resulting in some market excitement. Drilling is expected to commence in April 2020 targeting P50 recoverable prospective resources of 0.77 billion barrels of oil, with an upside of 1.44 billion barrels. It probably will, the MM can just agree an opening price way above previous days close which in effect synthesises a wide spread and peeps have to buy at a much higher price so the difference is theirs. Look at MCAP else you loose a sense of perspective. Veritas 3D seismics, the best £100m, licences £Xm, work to date and cost of cash etc, you get the gist this imo will be a £200m MCAP ahead of drill. The market is just attributing value as we get closer to spud. Plenty of upside yet but it won’t be in a straight line. Imo Peeps buying now may get below the next trading cushion for a comfortable ride to spud. Now that will be fun!

Brill sleuthing shellguy, pretty clear they have finished selling and are now waiting for txp’s next steps. So I guess if it looks like they will need to raise they may sell more in advance to fund the raise but if not they may even add more. So a topslice for now to give them options for the next steps.

This is where PI’s have an advantage, I think anyone in around 25p can hold for the upside and if they do raise given the statements and intent to self fund it will be much further down the line, e.g. for Royston Capex, by which time any discounted raise should be far higher than 25p.

Good note from the broker, obviously they had a heads up yesterday or they got one smart cookie there!

Yes I’m please it has gone to an infrastructure group rather than End user. My concern was around all the issues EU supply brings, fine for major industrials but this is a great customer to have on board. I think the fact that we got the RNS on a Friday is also recognition that they have listened to the likes of Agadem and released ASAP rather than the usual Tuesday/Thursday cycle.

However, I expect only a short term lift in the sp because I think it’s trading not fundamentals that have the upper hand atm. Those in HUR will know what I mean and if that is the case now really is the time to average down or buy taking advantage of evident undervalue with imminent news flow. More to come!
