Syquant have now increased their long position to 4.9% Lol!
I guess that explains the short so they get a lower long base price. They have also increased their short slightly to 0.18%. It’s well clear they are long bias.
Jeffries are really working the margins buying and selling for a couple of hundred quid if the trade goes their way. Pointless imo!
Ameriprise look to have sold 18k at 4.99! Bonkers!
Meanwhile Aster just keep drip buying this time 10k shares.
Every Aster trade I have seen has been a buy. They just keep on adding.
I expected Aster to move after the finals now with the APP deal, whilst I can’t say obvious, it makes sense to let that go through first. The may even wait for another TU with the APP numbers in as they have a controlling stake in PAY. It’s not going anyway so no hurry from their pov.
Selling with such a significant holding unless you have a buyer makes no sense and in any event they are still accumulating. If they are accumulating the lower the SP the better!
Syquant are being clever buying their time for a SP spike imo. There is not time out on shorts or longs so I think likewise they are expecting a pop and are adding to their long at theses low prices. Hence working the short.
All conspiracy, but the buying, selling and hedging on what’s low volumes is having a disproportionate impact on the SP imo.
We saw how quickly it moved up on the results only to be worked back down.
It’s the company performance that is key and if you can get your average down or in at 500p I think that could prove to be a good deal in the future esp with +7% yield cushion!
Anyways whilst I may trade a few down to improve my average I am staying put as I sense a payday here!
Usual caveats
