I refuse to buy anything on Amazon, eBay. Don’t use Twitter or Facebook, even moved from google now!…could go on.

I just don’t like what’s happening to our high street, hate tax avoiders or anyone that enables the proliferation of misinformation, child abuse etc etc….

I like here though! Mind you, LSE is even getting worse re misinformation albeit the Tecan’s BB is grounded and there’s respect for different opinions.

On line ain’t as cheap as it used to be by the time you pay for delivery for something that doesn’t look like the pic, turns up and doesn’t fit! then you have to pay postage to send it back again!

Or you could go the Shein, Temu lottery, get a bargain or absolute crp but hand over youf personal data to offshore rules!

TXP… if I had to pick one stock only for max capital gain from a lowish risk for 2025 TXP would be it! My tip started at 25p.

I expect 30p to go soon with the spud news, RBL news and acquisition news all due soon!

There are also some posters there that have built positions in excess of 500k shares! Obviously you gotta treat that for what it is but it’s not your usual ramp deramp BB. Most been there a while and been using the drop to average down ahead of an expected sp run.

Seems a few punters have latched on now albeit and quite rightly nobody can say with any surety it’ll be a huge winner in 2025. But that’s the type of credentials the big winners come from. Tiny mcap relative to peers hence huge upside.

POLB merger…. Disappointing imo, very messy. Would have been better if Gilead or Hook just bought but I guess the directors were more interested in self!

SRB…. Plant commissioned - was expected news - gotta see it crunching now to 60k ounces.

GST … completed BAKE aquisition from funds. Looks very interesting that one but there are other platforms out there. However, it’s a big market and none really have stepped forward for retail other than perhaps Atomic. I think GST will make headway and i should have had a punt when below 2p. Can’t do it all!

Ive been picking up trust and ETF’s selectively where there are insane discounts atm and a track record of sustainable, rising and covered dividends. I think that’s the opportunity for my age and needs.

Just running 4 higher risk one’s atm. TXP, HEX,MDH and PXC weighted in that order.

sirmark has covered it very well.

I am probably one of the few here that are well up having been in since 13p ish and sold most as the SP declined from its highs to 100p having been forced to swallow my pride! But I have been building again from 33p-22p range.

And I have told my son to do so as well. A young investor earning his ‘stripes’.

That’s a pretty good rec imo and you are familiar with my posting history.

The huge NAV discounts on offer atm across many trusts which are well below their yearly averages make for a compelling buy; only of course where fundi’s align!

Set my next top up at 67.5p, if not will move on!

Seriously though I think the whole sector is in for a bounce at some point. The obvious catalyst is interest rates.

Hawkish Fed is still leading to a risk off in favour of bonds atm!

All things change, eventually, meanwhile I am happy to add yield!

Had my NESF and DEC divi today bang on time from ii.

DEC is a UK listed US divi income play so could understand if that was late.

ii are pretty good but if you have lots of cash they don’t pay as good a rate as others. Trading 212 is much better for cash. My son uses them like a building society for interest as was paying 5%! lol!

1500 has always been my TP for DEc from 830 Evi… but I am running at side trade atm have plenty for the 1500 ride!

Traded out now at 1330 ish. Not totted up yet but around £1200 profit…

Now to spend some and ride some elsewhere of course!
