Europe looking at another run tomorrow…

It’s only one set of softer inflation numbers and bond yields really haven’t dropped that much. US 10 years down by .135 to 4.653 % atm… not looked at ours yet but I doubt a big drop.

It’s all about base rates by the looks….

Rachel from accounts put up taxes so that she could put more money into services then bond yields shot up so much that now they are looking at cutting the services that we are paying more tax for…. Genius!

Looking at BTC and POG popping it’s clear that these risk off barometers are factoring in a rate cut.

If the US cuts rates then net net the UK should follow.

Putting up taxes to generate growth is clearly not cutting it. It’s actually stymied growth, employment and wage rises unless you are on the heavily unionised railways that is. Where you get 15% without any productivity enablers!

For sure we gotta pay more but not like this. Rachel needs to now be bold and cut rates to put some pay back in peoples pockets so they can get their Greggs sausage rolls and Costa coffee!

The market is calling for it. It’s usually right and there are many macro disconnects out there at the moment.

An early 25bps is on the cards.

Should also do wonders for my high yield punts….or at least move them closer back to where they were!

Palestinians were dancing in the streets when this started now the are dancing that it is thankfully ending! They will also be welcoming hundreds of prisoners back, many of which likely ‘legal’ hostages themselves!

Ceasefire is fantastic news and one always has to negotiate but it’s clearly the Trump effect that has made the difference! Hence, I doubt he will be happy if any of the hostages remain.

I think we will do fine in HEX from 20p tro. It’s just this market.

There aren’t that many ‘wedge charts’ out there unless in reverse that is!. It’s mostly spikes and retreats usually on the way down!

But here’s a little gem for you borrowed, SXN… sell security cameras, can load with facial recognition all the hot AI stuff.

Got a 10m casino contract in Asia and there’s loads of smaller contracts. Makes most of its money overseas! Helps!

Results in March been guided to be a beat.

I added Mr race leader “Mad One” Madone given his different style to other racers and who is backing Touchstone Exploration (TXP) as a single stock portfolio. The carefully constructed portfolios of other racers might get trounced in the face of single stock TXP executing its “Drill to Fill” strategy. I actually would not be surprised if Mr Madone won the 2025 race in his all or nothing approach. But there’s also a chance it could end with last place. TXP trades at 26p today but exceeded 150p in its recent past. We’ll see. It’s also true a concentrated approach didn’t work so well for Mr and Mr Roast in 2024 as their top 3 for 2H24 got roasted. But Warren Buffett Buffetology says don’t invest into your next best idea focus on your best one, and Berkshire Hathaway generally does make highly concentrated investments, doesn’t it?…’

Hi SOH, I sliced some in 20’s as was way more than 100% up. Tipped it into income as I need yield.

Still got my original stake in HEX and very bullish but at the end of the day I trade to build my income pf as I run my own pension.

Depending on news I will probably slice again as likes of PHNX and MNG are in bargain territory atm! Then I would ‘just’ leave around 100k HEX for the ride.

Can’t do it all and I think this period of grabbing high yield may not last forever!

If you are looking for an entry into HEX I would say now is about as good as it will get. My son topped up recently.

GEX - 5.75p now…. I always said 5-6p to buy even when they were being ramped at 11p! I am not gonna have a go though, better plays out there.

MFAI - Riverfort massive reduction TR1… that one will pop soon imo. Even for aim its assets and divestment opportunities far outstrip the most negative of sentiment. But they have to sell down something to get the benefits as no revenues. A 5m disposal on their pf would be peanuts but would do wonders for a rerate!

PXC - on the subject of Riverfort who also have stock/debt there. PXC should be either landing the bonds or a bridge finance soon. Failing that it’ll be a placing. I hold cognisant of the risks. But a 5m bond clearance would propel the sp imo. The assets are excellent! For the brave only!

Txp - tick tock, ops news and aquisition news due soon… let’s see!

Hex - I still hold a few and do expect the BoD ramping to translate into a SP lift. Rudy flow rates could be the catalyst!

I am mostly though grabbing high yield atm for long term income. Surely Rachel from accounts will get something g right soon! I mean a £600m commitment from China over 5 years must be worth it. That’s just over a day’s expenses for the NHS! Tsk! Tsk!

All about finance, for sure copper narrative helps, but at the end of the day the SP is tied to financials.

Can they land the next bond instalment

Can they fix the next Riverfort payment

All the rest imo is noise!

Resolve the above and the SP will move considerably imo…. I mean 10p and then some depending on details!

But but but….the next stage of financing is an if and in this market the smart money has been in bonds waiting for opportunities! PXC and alike has been a mugs game!

But at 5p…. with a finance deal… the v early investors or traders will likely see a bag or more imo!

As the ops narrative is then valid, once they have finance!

GEX delays, weather, negotiations call that renegotiations, lots of interested parties = complex, permitting - bureaucracy - sellers a foot no wonder - may come good, but not yet when the listed I said 5-6p buy and stuck with that and still do!

5p is the treasury price so add on a bit imo!

MFAI - in, out and back in - now they’ll shake it all about. Fun money only!

Borrowed…. I held em for ages sold as sp drifted and bought some back after RNS today! It’s percentages of percentages!. Their pf is amazing but no credit for scale or quality on aim.

These investments have to sell assets to make money as there is no income. You only gotta look at the baskets of VELA and BLU!

But then look at ROAD that have crystallised profits from CSS investment

The scale of MFAI is similar! They just need to sell a small amount for working capital and then the market will take note as it will give a value point.

Atm 1p 20p who knows!
