If IceCool has topped up each time they have said they have then to dramatically bring down their average price they would have needed to more or less double their investment each time. Say at least once every couple of months. So for me I would have had to buy £500k last time. Perhaps IceCool started with £100 four years ago?

Most seasoned investors want to understand the risk/reward ratio and reassess each time there is news. You can’t do that if you only view your investment through rose tinted glasses.

I’ve said all along that I don’t think there will be a TO. CC isn’t in it for the money. She’s in it for the glory and the chance to make a huge difference to people’s lives.

I expect to get my investment back but I hope to maybe quadruple it in 3 or 4 years even after a number of dilution fund raises. But I don’t expect ten fold because the initial earnings will have to be ploughed back into an expensive R&D programme.

I agree that funds will be forthcoming and that how those funds are raised could have an impact on shareholders. I am not concerned that Avacta will go bust and I expect to get my investment back. But the days of expecting this to be a multibagger are over. By the time a number of fund raises and a NAZDAQ listing have diluted the SP and R&D costs for future products have been subtracted from the earnings of the first product to market, then there won’t be a lot left.

I prefer your earlier scenario where Royalty(?) invest in Avacta (not buy shares) for a cut of future revenue.

And what do you think would be a fair price to dual list on NASDAQ at the moment and how many shares ie what level of dilution. There is little or no demand for Avacta shares even at current SP. Until that is fixed by some decent P1b results then nothing is going to happen. Don’t believe me, then believe CC. The only good thing is that CC is getting the team in place that she needs for 2026.
