Oh believe me, percentage wise I am well underwater. You only have to look at the SP 4 years ago, 3 years ago and 2 years ago to see that. The point is that in the last 2 years I’ve ignored the hype and invested successfully elsewhere and now have a nice big wad to invest at the right moment

I’m hardly going to miss out waiting for the placing. I have far too many shares already. It never pays to be too greedy. Also over the past two years if I’d bought each time the clowns told me “it’s the bottom we’re never going to get another chance to buy again at this price” I would be massively underwater like some others on here. As it is I’ve saved that cash and am ready to go if the right information is released to support the placing. GLA

As I keep posting- I am invested and want Avacta to succeed but I agree with Wyndrum’s analysis of the current situation. Obviously if Zeus/Royalty were to put in £200M tomorrow my view would change. And you would say “ah trolls have left the BB now there is good news”. Whatever amuses you 🤣

Current SP 29p. What placing price do you think investors would jump in at Gracie? A 4p discount isn’t enough IMHO

Most advise limiting to a dozen or so in order to be able to maintain a good le velocity of active research. But at least you aren’t all in on Avacta as some on here have said they are. “eggs in one basket “ and all that!

I am not critical of Avacta. I have been clear on my views on a number of occasions.

1. I am invested

2. I believe the technology works

3. I expect AVA6000 P1b results to be good enough to secure a license deal

4. I hope the deal is good enough to support the pipeline development and commercialisation- after the imminent fund raise via Royalty/Zeus or for NASDAQ.

My beef with some of the rampers is that they continually ost ludicrous predictions: takeover next week, massive announcement when results are published, you’ll never be able to buy at this price again, you’ve missed the boat, etc etc etc

And they wish all sorts of bad to happen to me. What is wrong with these people?

We may be disagreeing over “problem “. It obviously isn’t a problem because AVA6000 continues a promising P1 clinical trial. But it is obviously something that Avacta needed to improve on and hence the pipeline will benefit from the improved half life expected from AVA6103.

I have never questioned your scientific acumen. I do have concerns about your investment advice concerning Avacta though. I hope you have a nice wad ready for the inevitable raise whether it be as part of Royalty/Zeus buy in, or cost of NASDAQ listing.

Also. I wasn’t silent when new NEDs were announced because I said I thought they may come bearing gifts. And I’ve made it quite clear that I want Avacta to succeed. I’m just saving my cash waiting for a good discount when the offer is announced. Can’t be far off now.

my point is that you can’t easily do it on the likes of hl in a “normal” account. the jibe that anyone who is cautious and not a delusional ramper is shorting the stock is absolutel *******s.

It is difficult for a PI to short a stock unless you do a lot of expensive business with your personal broker. Which rules most of us out. Do really the shorting jibe is ridiculous.

“Avacta dont have a cure for cancer, they have a 'not yet completed' platform for alleviating the side effects of chemotherapy.”. This is what I have been saying and it is why BP are investing millions in potential cures not tampering with chemotherapy which possibly only leads to remission in a number of patients. Yes I know, we have other potential solutions for drugs delivered by the Precision platform, but how many years off are they?
