I have shares i a small mining company which has been going through test drills and analysis and a proof of concept pilot production plant.
They keep me well informed all the way even if News not so good.
The might not be legally obliged to inform me so often. But they do.
Thiss is in stark contrast to Avacta

This sounds like the sort of garbled thinking voiced on here last year for Affidx. And look what happened then after weeks of news that we all interpreted as good.

We need an RNS to confirm all the hype. End of.

As you say - possibly a good thing. You would expect a move to next DE to be announced fairly quickly, whereas analysing the data and getting all ducks in line before an RNS probably takes longer.

Wouldn’t it be great if Avacta Diagnostics division got off their backsides and relaunched Affidx mk2. After all, last January many on here were telling us confidently it would only take a couple of weeks to tweak it up and running.
If that were to be the next RNS with Abingdon doing TT into production then we might see some sales by 2Q23 if Porton Down cooperate. Even then that might lead to prospects of a dividend long before AVA6000 provides a dividend.

I can’t help thinking that with little chance of AVA6000 sales revenue until well into 2024 if not 2025, there is little or no urgency for IIs to invest.

Your logic only works for commodities where more can be mined or grown or manufactured then the buyers can drive price down. Also demand increases the volume produced and efficiencies bring price further down.

BUT here we are dealing with a share with limited number. Therefore the more people that want it leads to low supply and that leads to the price going up. It’s called supply and demand. Read a good economics text book.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose no matter how certain you are that a share is a sure bet. IMO

I think that they divided by the number of Avacta share deals you’ve done in order to stick to the day traders and topslicers.
