Seems only reason for RNS today was to “clarify” no update at presentation after Fiona said there would be!! I.e. let the cat outta the bag!!
Ordinarily I wouldn’t have thought an upcoming presentation on Avacta at a conference deserves an RNS. Also explains why it wasn’t at 7am.

Icecool as Vanilla says, the first paragraph says that the total allocation is fixed. The second paragraph states how any excess will be apportioned.

Avacta BoD cannot conjure up extra shares. All they can do is open a second offer and we all apply for that. But that isn’t a simple process. IMO we’re all stuck with our quota

First sentence implies no shares above the total offer. That would match my experience with other such offers of this nature.

Surely the biggest attraction in buying ABDX for AVCT is that AVCT seem about to relaunch a better Affidx and ABDX did complete TT on their “first” Affidx at the end of 2021. So AVCT obviously thought that ABDX was a good manufacturing partner then and the work that was done then must save on costs for the relaunched Affidx. I would think it’s a non-brainer.

Abingdon did complete TT on Affidx at the end of 2021. If Avacta rerelease a better version, I would have thought that quickest way to market would be with Abingdon manufacturing. Then Abingdon wouldn’t be loss making would they?

Biggest shock since Affidx was binned. Why isn’t this being done later this year when SP will be massive and therefore fund raise is massive. I am now really concerned about P1A results. It looks as if BOD regard the current SP as high otherwise they would do this after p1A results have pushed up SP.

I like the optimism and hope, but £7M buys you very little even if you can augment it with a bank loan and I can’t see many banks jumping at the opportunity. Our best hope is that they are beavering away on some contracts signed or about to be and are using the money to good effect rather starting down another track.
