Just a brief aside for those who think Covid is over : it isn’t. I have two friends who have it badly and I had an op cancelled last week because I caught it. The NHS supplied LFTs are Xiamen. The hospital supplied LFTs (nose only) are Surescreen. You’ll be delighted to know I’m feeling a lot better today.
That said I cannot see Covid being a market that interests Avacta any more despite their last words on the matter.

When was start of cohort 5 announced and at what dosage to ensure P1a completion first half of year?

One thing that would help is if the SP rose to the point that the share capital was high enough for Avacta to be admitted back in to the index (name escapes me) that it fell out of nearly two years ago. Because funds that track that index would have to purchase Avacta shares then.

You have explained my view far better than I can but other people will always interpret the facts in a super positive way while still asking the question “why is SP so low? Why can’t market see how great this?”

Back to the subject of the thread: the more Avacta appears in a positive light in the right media the better.

I’m stuck here awake in Arrowe Park ICU (ask John) so why shouldn’t you all be awake in eager anticipation.

If one more person tells us how great the science is and it’s all about the science, I shall scream. It never is all about the science and technology and if you don’t know that then you cannot have been investing in the stock markets very long and/or owned many shares.

As for me, I tend to overreact to some of the unfounded delusional ramping that sometimes occurs.

For this BB to be useful to any new or potential investors it needs a balanced view. It cannot just be the continual reading the very best outcome out of each piece of news. Or even the “no news is good news” mantra.

Because some of us see this as a longer term investment it doesn’t necessarily mean we aren’t invested or should sell. I will be happy to double or triple my investment this year. But because my view doesn’t match your view that the SP will be much higher than that in the next few weeks doesn’t mean I’m negative about Avacta.

Back true to form. M****ty must have offered him a bonus. Still it’s great to see that the Uber rampers are still believing that they know best, the science is misunderstood and the SP is all wrong.

Jeez I’d love to know what other great investments they are backing, so I can avoid them. Oh no sorry they are “all in” on Avacta so they don’t have other investments.

But the truth is that regardless of the huge scientific breakthrough (which I agree it is), the SP won’t reflect that until investors can see a clear path to a return on their capital. End of.
