It wasn’t really funding in the normal sense though was it. It was an advance to help buy Launch and is being paid back on a regular basis out of the profits from Launch. Nothing to do with AVA6000.

DT you have a conveniently short memory. There are a number of periods when Avacta has been silent. And when they break that silence it is usually to announce a delay or worse.

Ok. I’ll try to make my position clear. I have a far bigger proportion of my portfolio in this share than I should have. I certainly am not going to invest more at this point neither am I going to sell. I expect to double or triple my investment but nothing in life is a certainty.

The points I was rather clumsily trying to make are:

1. Avacta can “get on with it” and communicate. It’s not an either or.

2. At hardly any time has silence been a good thing. It has normally meant another delay or worse.

4. For the SP to rocket like you all expect there needs to be liquidity. That is not going to happen unless IIs get involved. Most of us PIs are maxed out and can’t buy and won’t sell in any meaningful amounts.

5. IIs won’t invest in the amounts required unless Avacta lists on a main market.

6. Al is a scientist and wants to control the future uses of this incredible technology rather than make loads of money.

So which of the above do you disagree with and why?

If it’s quiet they are just getting on with it. They’ve even had to involve their PR people in the trial so no time to do their real job!!!!

Face it Al doesn’t give a fart about us PIs. After all we are so heavily invested we’ve got no more money to put in. When he gets the IIs interest he’ll launch a placing on one of the main markets and we’ll all get burned. But I only expect to double or triple my investment so that’s fine. But stop dreaming about multiples of 10 or 20. It’s not going to happen.

As for a buyout. Al is a scientist. He isn’t interested in making a fortune. He wants to keep control and fulfill his destiny. The science is too exciting. Far more exciting than mere money.

I agree. It’s an exciting company and that’s why I’m invested. But as an investment it’s totally derisked in my opinion and I don’t expect much to cause much SP movement in next 6 months. So I can leave it alone and spend my time managing other investments or chilling.

Boring in the sense that it is safe and I don’t need to worry about it until the Q4 inflection on good results happens
