To me only reason for a raise right now is if the clinical trial results indicate the need for some further development or dosing regime design that is going to significantly extend product development timescale. This news would severely damage the SP. So need to get the raise in first.

Or for some reason the fortnightly dosing clinical trial has turned out to be very costly.

To be honest I cannot believe we will be hit with a raise unless there are some good terms for current shareholders.

1. I am invested because I still think the upside is much greater than the downside and in the end I could afford to lose it all

2. I think that the dosing regime in strength and frequency and for different patient characteristics needs more research

3. I think Al believes that the two week dosing trial will yield much better results

4. This will prove the platform and convince Novartis to do a deal on AVA3996

5. Nothing dramatic will happen until mid year because cohort 7 data isn’t going to be convincing enough

6. Al says funding will be non-dilutive and that he wants to take AVA6000 all the way. He is a scientist it is his baby. I believe him. So no takeover.

You are one of very few posters on here whose views I respect because they deal with the facts and are logical. However, when most fantasists on here are predicting a deal next week and pointing to the two new hires as evidence, why do you think that a licence deal is a long way off. As I said, end of P1 should prove not just AVA6000 but also the platform. So a deal on AVA3996 is a real possibility 2H24.

One thing I am getting more confident about is there will be no fund raise. If P1 delivers then Novartis will strike a cracking licensing deal for AVA3996. If it doesn’t then goodnight Vienna.

Cohort 7 was at a higher dose but given 3 weekly. I still maintain that there are circumstances where AVA6000 excretion rate is very high and cleaving is too low. Hence moving to fortnightly dosing. But everyone is ignoring that possibility. But it could be why they aren’t keen to release the cohort 7 data because it isn’t showing the efficacy they’d hoped for even though an improvement on safety of straight dox.

Al has said he won’t license AVA6000. He is a scientist so he certainly isn’t going to let the company go out of his control. The fortnightly data and any more data from AVA3996 will be needed to convince and secure a deal from Novartis for AVA3996. So after mid year we should see some action.
