The Elephant in the Room5 Mar 2024 18:55
Yeah, I know, I was going to quit posting on this BB. But the fantasists seem intent on fooling more naive people into investing too much in Avacta.
Haven’t we learned from the last couple of years experience not to interpret Al’s far from clear comms in the most positive light without even considering that they could mean something else?
Not so long ago I made a prediction on here that proved to be dramatically wrong. But in my defence this was predicated on getting superb results from arm 2.
Since December we have heard nothing about c7 other than it started. Arm 2 hasn’t started dosing and is pencilled in to start 2H24 pushing P2 back to 1H25 at earliest.
Why has P1a taken so long?
Why isn’t the data revealed so far compelling enough to attract a partner in a deal of some sort?
Why is arm 2 delayed so long?
Why has the raise taken place now when according to most on here we are due pivotal clinical data in a matter of days? I have said before that C7 is unlikely to reveal this excellent data.
So for me the Elephant in the room is “how well does AVA6000 work?”. I have said before that I think that AVA6000 is being excreted too quickly compared with how quickly it can be cleaved.
Finally don’t be surprised if the news at the AGM is very underwhelming.
