Tim if we have to wait until Christmas then the chance of starting P1b in 2024 is blown. And P2 won’t start until 2026.

I truly hope we get good news soon. Because as I keep saying I am invested.

I agree. I worked out of Baltimore for 2 years. Every opportunity to throw team parties and celebrate. And communication is major part of education and work life. My kids being used to reserved British approach to education, hated school at first but soon got used to it and it did them the world of good 😄😄😄

Bella is right. It has been Novartis since February at least.

It is much more important to get the right partner than the best possible financial deal. CC wants to trust her partner and share a vision not see a mega SP.

Pom poms why can’t you engage in rational debate and why oh why are you always so aggressively abusive. I can’t imagine what you are like in any other social groups unlucky enough to have you. Why do you wish terrible things will happen to the 3 amigos? None of them have wished you harm in fact just the opposite.

And finally I ask lots of questions because the incomplete picture we are given by Avacta poses lots of questions.

Primarily because Al running it as effectively a one man show was a naive way to do it. But more importantly I see SAB being incredibly important in selecting the best candidates to progress from the potential pipeline. I cannot really see what SAB has to offer in guiding AVA6000 to commercialisation. The pathway has already been set out into 2026. Always happy to be corrected. Preferably without abusive language 😄

I agree that LFT should be irrelevant now with changes to BoD.

Also I agree that safety of AVA6000 is not an issue. I think that it hasn’t been an issue for over a year and is one reason why I don’t understand why we are still in P1a.

Yes you are right. We have yet to move on to the P2 trials to test efficacy hopefully around this time next year although arm 2 results should be a really good indication of efficacy on a small scale. Will that be enough to convince BP or the market? I’ve switched my view back to licence deals for AVA3996 after CC’s presentation. I wouldn’t want Novartis to buy us now because it would be at such a low SP.

So yes in about 2 years AVA6000 could be dox delivery of choice and helping to fund development of a huge follow on pipeline of brilliant drugs. How much of that profit we will get as dividends remains to be seen. Meanwhile huge strides are being made elsewhere and like it or not chemotherapy has an unfortunate ring to it compared to say immunotherapy.

I’m not embarrassed by this although it is an indication of my misplaced trust in what Avacta were telling us. It was posted in Feb 23 and I expected to double or treble my investment by the end of the year - 10 months on. And that was because we were told P1a would be over and no need for P1b. I was greeted with hoots of derision and yet here we are nearly 18 months later and P1a still hasn’t finished. And you wonder why I am cautious. I certainly was wrong about LSE and NASDAQ but certainly my positive view of Avacta at that time wasn’t rampy enough for me to join Pom Pom girls.

Regarding my view now: I do expect to be able to sell eventually for £3 to £5 but that is probably another 18 months off.

Thank you for reminding me that I was more positive about Avacta then (and probably life in general!) but a lot has happened, or not happened, in the last 18 months.

To misquote Timmy - you could almost get the same results with ribena. Just look for accounts of cancer patients that have just suddenly gone into remission for no apparent reason.

That is why we need more data. And I mean data not lovely comforting adjectives but numbers.

Then the SP will move.

Al did not lie to us in the sense that he believed everything he said. He was in love with Avacta and its products. He could only view results through rose-tinted glasses and was blind to any possible signs that things were progressing not quite as expected. He could not conceive of anything other than phenomenal success.

Lucky that investors on here are so well educated and informed and seasoned campaigners that they won’t fall into the same trap.

This is so important. Why do Pom poms keep ignoring this and either answer different questions or hurl abuse or chant the “dox is dox” mantra?

It’s because Avacta haven’t told us. We don’t know.

AZN will really look silly wasting all that money when Avacta does the big reveal at Christmas.
