I’m with Craig there’s no point in being ballsy and paying in cash and setting a dangerous precedent, if it brings the next fund raise closer. We need cash to drive things forward. Shares are essentially free. Just release some more.

Do you think that this bad news prompted some movement of cash our way causing the late in the day SP rise. I do hope so and it sparks more interest

I’ve said why I’m invested in Avacta. I’m well underwater so not a good time to sell. I do expect to recoup any losses in next 12 months. Other than the recent offer, I haven’t put any more money into Avacta for 20 months or more. I’m putting money into more lucrative investments

Yes I do understand that. But trials won’t entail 3 years of testing involving patients in 6 months of intravenous drip. It will be one or two vaccinations at far less cost and a much shorter time to show efficacy. And the cancer is unlikely to return. And the approach will work on a greater range of cancers.

Why do you think you know us all so well on here.

I was trained in AI techniques and systems by the leading AI systems company back in 1992 and then set up a team to develop prototype learning matrices for a leading uk based international insurer. We went on to develop internal systems and also developed and sold a system for a government department. This work was partially responsible for me getting my green card in 8 months when I moved to the US.

So yes I do understand AI and the leap forward since then has been phenomenal mainly due to availability of much more powerful processors at economic cost.

You claim to have done research to back up your fantastical claims. But you are just ignoring what is happening now in cancer treatment development. Peeps don’t want a more effective chemotherapy with the ongoing worry that the cancer will come back at some point if instead they can have a complete cure. And that is why the investment is going into solutions like the vaccine I highlighted in my earlier posts. Chemotherapy has a limited future. Avacta has to get AVA6000 over the line asap to prove the science beyond doubt and follow up with other products asap.

I really can’t see that the new BoD is being put in place for a quick TO unless it’s to Novartis and they live on in a new well funded subsidiary to fulfil their aim of getting AVA6000 and the pipeline of drugs to the patients that need it.

There will be no bidding war.

As per my previous posts - you need to decide what to wish for. If there is a deal imminent it will be for about £1.

Likely scenario that Novartis is our suitor then they will be waiting for arm2 results, so about Christmas we could get an offer for £2 tops.

Else we’ll have to wait a year or more until end of 1b when we’ll need funding for P2. So who knows what the likely SP will be then. But nowhere near £10.

There is a bias against chemotherapy. I was looking at the holdings of the biotech funds at the moment to see what they are backing. And it’s not Avacta.

Thanks. Similar to a book about TA that I bought several years ago when I started investing. For investing rather than gambling (so won’t interest many on here) TA is excellent for timing purchases once you’ve done due diligence and decided what share to buy. And timing sales.

There will be no bidding war. It’s all been orchestrated by Novartis since December or maybe longer. The last piece of the jigsaw for them to be happy to buy us is stunning arm 2 results round about Christmas. Only concern is how much for £1. ?? £2 ?

I shall be buying a lot of Novartis shares today when market opens 😄😄😄😄
