I think it more likely that the BoD told AS that he could no longer continue as CEO and that he wasn’t prepared to stay on in a different role. Anyway better to look forward now.

This is a gamblers share. But most of my portfolio is solid companies with years of distributing between 5% and 10% dividends and Olivier’s for dividend growth. Average portfolio growth over 13 years 12% year on year. Does that make me a gambler or an investor?

Re vaccines: I would expect Precision platform overall to be a winning technology but in the long term perhaps not for cancer treatment. Hopefully we will still make some money on our investment in the meantime and lives will be lengthened if not saved.

I think that it is sad that the two main tribes on here are continually aggressive to eachother and yet we will both be delighted if/when Avactacomes good.

Sunday press had article on five cancer treatments that will enhance lives this year. Avacta wasn’t one of them.

I’d be obliged if whoever had this deleted yesterday would leave it here. It is relevant because it puts Avacta in context although I know a lot of peeps on here don’t like to think that there is any competition.

Do you actually research the other promising cancer treatments that are in a similar state of development but don’t carry the scariness of chemotherapy with them and the possibility of the cancer returning?

The results so far are not exceptional other than that one particular case and very good in a couple of others. Why do you insist on repeating this over and over. It undermines the other great level headed analyses that you post.

It’s this sort of company that will help make customised anti cancer vaccines quick to design and produce. It will blow chemotherapy out the water in a few years time. Thank heavens Precision has other applications.

Apart from my quota in the recent offer, I haven’t added since beginning of 2023.

I’ve been doing ok investing elsewhere and Avacta makes up about 20% of my share portfolio which is about right given all circumstances

I’ll reconsider when arm 2 is out
